1st thing in the morning I need to go and buy another wheel, just can't get hang of the pad at all. Losing about 10 mph in every corner

@ daan & JASE72: It was very nice racing with you guys! We loved it! 👍

@ burnout:

Normally I try to drive without any contact to other cars. But when I see, that there's a driver who doesn't attach importance to clean driving, I don't attach importance too, belonging him.

So yes, I've bumped you. But I'm sure, it was after you have shown/suggested me, that you're not interested in clean driving.

The biggest incident was, when you have pushed me out in the Hairpin. And you have been much to fast. I don't say, that it was your intention to shoot me off. But you did it. And in those situations we all know the gentlemen aggreement, that says that you have to wait, until I'm out of the banket, and let me resume racing in front of you. It doesn't make anything unhappend, but it shows me, that you're sorry. You haven't done it.

We have talked about you in teamspeak, and I've seen you driving. Your style of driving was very bumpy.

I don't want to say, that we all shouldn't overtake in corners. But you must have the skill to do it. If you don't have it - don't do it! You can't overtake in every corner, and in every situation. You have to separate the situations where you can overtake, and where you can't.

If you try to drive without any contact, the impacts caused of little mistakes, are mostly not worth to talk about, and are mostly forgotten immediately. And if you've done a bigger mistake, and you've shot someone off. Remember our gentlemen aggreement, and show the driver you shot off, that you're sorry. There's no race-win, that's worth it, to risk a bad reputation. ;)

You consider being hit in the hairpin, in a mess with 4 cars going into it, to be my fault. I don't think it was, as I was touched by others also. And if I did, I would have waited. More, I would have apologized. After all, I created the apologies thread in this forum, and I use it, like I did referring to the coming together with daan. Hell, I even wait when people go off on their one sometimes, since wining is really not my main goal!

But you where the least of my problems. I said you pushed me wide in the double right just before the hairpin. Thats why I used the term "muscle". That was my issue with you.

As for overtaking in odd places, I do. I look for a different approach and can plant my car on the inside of almost any corner, or sometimes go around the outside. That's how my car is setup, and why it's not the fastest in terms of lap times. If the people being overtaken are surprised, there may be some bumping. And if I get it wrong I usually get myself out of the way and into the sand without hitting anyone. But you guys just talked to each other, decided that my behavior in half a lap (my lines and the incident I had with you) meant I was a bad driver and I was pushed out even before the end of lap one. That's hardly time enough to decide to give me a "bad rep". My REP by the way can be seen in this forum and this thread even.

From that moment on, some (not all, but quite a few) made my life hell. A few threw me DELIBERATELY OFF TRACK, more than once, clear intention, others kept nudging me in the S's, and I only remeber Rudi Raser and a Red Mazda leave room for me on the inside of a corner. The hairpin once each. And I obviously gave the outside on the exit, and lost the position back if I recall correctly. Mostly others decided to turn in to me as if I was not there whenever I sneak up on the inside of any corner, or run me wide when I was on the outside. Several different GTPR's, people with which I had no contact.

So from my seat, I saw teaming up against me, and making my life miserable just because I drive the wrong lines and I made one alleged mistake against one of the team.

I saw them bumping each other as well, sometimes hard. The difference being they where excused as race incidents between GTPR's.

Moreover, even if I was wrongdoing, doing the same makes you just as wrong. And they where doing it worst to me (like swiping me into the grass in the end of the back straight when I was leading!?!?!?) and in an organized manner.

Also the same GTPR's that threw me off, when hosting races did quit just because the people they wanted in the race where not there.

But hey, I guess that's all my fault...

PS. I raced a few of you way after, (in smaller numbers) and had no issues. Like yourself, rudi and others.

Have you guys considered doing a bit of a GTP based championship? We could do a number of races, allocating points as per finish position in order of GTP members (in other words, say a GTP'er finishes 1st, some random shmo finishes 2nd and a GTP'er finishes 3rd, the 3rd place GTP'er would get 2nd in our championship). Spread across maybe a couple of events. It might not be too bad, but I think organising everyone who wants in would be hard. It'd be 1 race per day for the championship.

Ummm...I've just gone to play some GT and when I Go to Sign In I get a message saying:

"Use of PLAYSTATION-Network has been suspended.
Try to sign in again later.
"

Is this a problem with my account, my connection or with PSN??? I've never seen this error before?

We have watched you all the evening, since our first not so nice race with you. And after starting posting here, we decided to give you a second chance, and wanted to show you with clean racing how online racing has to be. And it worked. While racing later that evening, we had no longer any problems belonging racing with you. :)

Might be, that in our first race, it was all a big misunderstanding.

Hope we can do some nice and clean races in the future! 👍

And now, generally about GTRP-Members:

Most of the older and well known GTRP-Members have a big experience in terms of racing together. In Germany, we're organising big I-Link/LAN-events since times of GT3. And there have been also many smaller I-Link/LAN-events. The older GTRP-Members, like Rudi & me, have participated in a lot of these events. So, racing together is not new for us, and we know what we are doing.

But there are also some GTRP-Members with a "GTRP" in their PSN-nick, that are new to us. Sometimes I meet up GTRP-Drivers online, that I've never heard about before. There are people driving with a "GTRP" in their nick, that have only 5 posts on our board. We can't do anything against it. Everybody can put a "GTRP" into his nick. He sadly doesn't need our aggreement. I think, you might have the same promlems at this board, with drivers who put a "GTP" into their nicks, without any permission from the leaders of this board.

So, the only thing we can do, is to request fair and clean driving. Especially if the people are driving with a "GTRP" in their nick. Until now, I haven't heared or seen anyone with a "GTRP" in the nick, who behaved like a crash-kid. But I've seen people with a "GTRP" in their nick, who obviously where not so firm, in racing with human intelligence. I'm sorry, if someone here has/had problems with one of those guys, and I hope they'll do it better in the future. And if there are people making problems, please let us know!

Nope, I'm after getting that to. The must being updating something, heres hoping its a really good surprise!

He does use a 3G connection which could explain some, if not all, of the contact issues. The game might not be entirely clear about exactly where he is at any given time.

I agree with Sphinx, and we are going off topic here, so lets just draw a line under this issue.

The same applies to this section.

So no racing today then guys :grumpy:.

They better be doing something GOOD with the network to make up for it!

I've given up for the evening. I've driven nearly 1500 miles this weekend to Holland and back and I'm really tired.

I've had a great night racing against the GTRP boys. I haven't had any problems with them, and I don't think they would have problems with me. There was one occasion where Rudi and another GTRP-er had contact and slowed each other down. I went for the gap between them, into the casio triangle, but it was closed and I spun into Rudi. I think I went transparent and I thought it was just a racing incident.

Lets keep the battling to the track, and lets try and have some great, clean races against some great racers. 👍

Ive raced a few gtrp guys and they are great drivers. I even woke up extra early to get more hours on it with you guys!! Hopefully it will be soon!

anyone up for some 500/600pp suzuka? =)

I think I was in a couple of races with you last night on 600PP, I think it was the one's I came 5th in though, getting caught up in the pack.
I dont know if you were in the race, but later on I had a race where I was punted off in the Esses on lap 1 and ended up in 11th, after 5 laps, I was in 3rd, lol.

Just played madforce ahh your in the forum nice driving there i had a bit of a shock when i saw you was using the alfa 3.2. Good race and fun trying to catch you!!

EDIT: XX:40 sounds good

yeah, i tried the car for the first time
will change it ;)

I thought you done really good in it it was only on the hairpin curve could catch up to you.I must try that car, it also looked like it was easy to control.

i find that car sluggish, even in gt4 it wasn't the fastest car ever, but it handled really well.

i waited a bit, too
the delta isn't really the fastest car ;)

Yea i thought you waited ill change car too. I wasn't expecting the suzuki swift i have to say lol. 👍 im sure you went easy on me during the 1st lap.

EDIT: HAHA tell me about it jase i could not catch it!!!

nothing :D
yeah, last lap was more near the limit ;)

LOL you was taking it easy for 2 laps!!!! I want another race :D Are you using a steering wheel?

EDIT: Im sure you also done a little drift or was that a mistake? haha your a good racer!
