never an easy race with you timppaq! you are one of the fastest I met. and you always take me in the same corner....dont remember the name of corner but you know where I mean.

Why you guys have to use the easyest fast car in all your races?You are laughing when someone trying to race with not so competit car,and still youre not the fastest around there.Learn to drive moore challenging cars too,then you will learn how to race!

Well i refuse to buy a GT Test car because i dont like using the fastest car in class, and i use a Skyline coupe in 600pp, fastest? i think not.

Most of us rarely 'laugh' for beating someone, its people who do stupid tactics that make us laugh, like the guy who i went round the outside of on Dunlop curve, then cut inside just as he goes to block me... of he goes into the sandtrap.

Hehehe. The correct entry speed @dunlop is very important. Too slow and you loose time, too fast and you start to go wide and have to lift. Done correctly, allows you to power around the outside. I am still not very good there, especially because ruberbanding alters my cornering speed almost every lap.. .:grumpy:

Nice driver btw, that "toni_cro" or something... Saw him bumbing you out, JASE72... Almost bumbed him out to be even, but just and just controlled myself. Instead I just overtook him... 5 times. ;)

Otherwise, good racing Jase!! Hope to see again, now I have to go..

Had the closest near miss in a long time, going into the hairpin i was trying to get on the inside of a GTP-er but i accidentally got a rear wheel on the grass, the whole car spun in towards the guy in a little swift. I was sure I was going to T him but then thankfully I went invisible just at the last tenth of a sceond, few!

Ive had some 1 on 1's with BigBlock_79, sometimes he's given me space and not hit me, other times he has not. Very aggressive driver but he's not faster than my swift :sly:
My only advice is just to avoid him as much as possible and be prepared to brake a little bit more in case he bumps you. He makes quite a few mistakes because of his aggression, so you should be able to take him sooner or later.

I was doing this when GT5P first came out, I attempted to see if it was possible to achieve a win in a Jaguar XK in 650PP, I succeeded...and so started my love of the XK.
When 700PP came around, I tried to win that with an Aston Martin DB9, once again I succeeded. I can't think of anything more satisfying than defeating fields of Tuned cars, Ferrari's and Ford GT's with a lesser car.
I have to admit, I didn't go for the slowest cars in the game, like you did, but I did choose cars that were purposefully not-quite-fast enough to outright beat a decent driver, but good enough to keep pace and take advantage of mistakes.

Basically, I drove cars that were good enough for a 5th or 6th place finish and attempted to win with them. Anyway, good fun, I recomment to anyone who has not tried it. Just remember to move out of the way at the start, because you're going to become a moving obstacle more than anything.

EDIT!!!!: Big_block_79(DE) driving behind me leading onto the spoon curve and i was breaking but he didn't have any of that and knocked me off and nicely strolled off!:grumpy:

Thanks for the response guys...... i was thinking what on earth have i done to him? He is aggressive yes, but he's an ugly driver..... lines all over the place, slow as a tortoise through the esses, altering braking points every lap and just messy when it's close. I slipstreamed him up to 130r and had actually started to move to the outside whilst decelerating for 130r (i don't brake for it in either the 888 Swift or my Altenza.)

All in all........ he's a clown. I've never seen him in anything other than that red Type R and he's just embarrassing himself most of the time. I beat him home most times, but he riled me up last night when he cleaned me and another guy in a '96 Elise up in the esses and then took the bolt.
 
next time i see him ille give hime some of his own medicine back.
ime not playing this game as much as ime still waiting for a new steering wheel and have noticed my times are well down.
