Just got done with some pretty fun racing, saw a few GTP folk out there and had some great races with zabeu again...that was until we ran into GTP_KingLorimer. You really need to explain yourself buddy, both zabeu and I were confused by your rude and aggressive driving :confused:
 
i just had a brilliant race with a guy called "twisteddeeds", what a quick and clean racer he is. proper gentleman racer 👍

Yeah, twisteddeeds is a good guy. He is a member here. We had a good race earlier. 👍

i searched his name on the forum but couldn't track him..

yeh i enjoyed that a lot, sorry i messed up a little braking for t2 when we was side by side, just touched the sand a bit and i couldn't bring it back. thanks for waiting too! your a proper racer :) you deserved the win on that race so i pushed you over. hope you didn't mind.👍👍
 
I had a race with AERO_HDT last night, he was in an R8 and I was in a TT. He would have beaten me by around 20sec or more, but he tried making me win at the finish, I couldn't allow that.:sly: That's the only time I'll ever punt a GTP racer, when it means punting him over the line for a win he deserves.;) I was just seeing if the TT could be fast. It handles the part, but gets owned on the straights with a bad torque curve and low PWR.

There were lots of great racers online last night... and no host quits. I also did the same to... I think it might have been GTP_hyperuk. I tried out an Impreza, and I was slower then him in the corners, on the straights, and I ran off on the first corner. He had a completely smooth run then allowed me to win... so I rammed him through the finish. :lol: (sorry for the whiplash).

I also tried out a Purple Suzuki Cervo SR in the 600pp race as an experiment to see whether the tortoise could beat the hare. I managed to keep an Evo X behind me for nearly a lap, but that was about it. It was a failed test :( . Pitty, because I absolutely love the purple Cervo.

:odd: :lol: Why not try it in 500 instead?

I'm still frantically trying to find a car I like for 600 PP. The Corvette is rediculously taily, to the point of BS still. I don't want to have to use the R8, but it's looking ever more hopeless as the only car usable. (I would avoid Lancers, WRXs, and GT-Rs at all costs). Elise, too slow on straights, Viper same as Corvette. F430, doesn't suit me, backing off the throttle makes understeer for some stupid reason, I might have to re-evaluate my tune. Plus I don't like new Ferraris all that much, fairly lifeless. I'm about to try the IS-F. It's Japanese and PD always over exaggerates Japanese performance so maybe it will be good. (For proof, an IS-F is supposedly better than a F40, Corvette, DB9 at 650 PP :rolleyes: ) See now why I think the Corvette has been mis-represented? No V8 sedan could ever beat a Corvette, what BS.

+1. Raced him once and was surprised there are GTP-members who drive like that. All other members I raced where good clean races, but not him.

He was defending his position on the straights, even when I had a much better run out of the previous corner and would fly past him. I really don't understand what's the point of doing that. His overtaking wasn't that clean either.
 
So is anyone racing at the moment? I'm going to drive an IS-F in 600 PP from now on. Very predictable and reasonable pace. How a sedan could beat a Corvette is way beyond me, biased game producers.

Sorry I just drove away from you there, but I was trying to beat my best race time and I think that 6'55.872 (or something like that) is gonna be close.:sly: Best lap was lap 2: 2'17.336.

edit: I was surprised the race lasted as I was host and my connection isn't that good.

edit 2: beat that with 6'53.149 and a best lap of 2'16.699
 
After I fell really far behind online boost got crankin' and I ran a 2'17 in the IS-F.:dopey: Normally I get around a 2'20/21 in it. Now I'm trying my Corvette. I wish it had an LS3 so I could have a decent power curve.:(

@ Timppaq: Sorry for the little nudge I gave you in the chicane in the second race!

@ nd 4 holden spd: We restarted immediatly after the XX:30 race, so we couldnt start at XX:45. I'll be there at XX:00 though 👍
 
Sorry to everyone in that last race, I was using the pad as my Rig is under going some mods. Back later. 👍

I stand here idling as long as someone says a time to start together... got 2 disconnection after races.. :( ...no worries about the bumbs! ..and nice driving LP... wish i would have had more laps than 3 to catch you... :) ..the rubber band is much better now... So PD... just give us longer races now..!! (if the p-Rooms are out of question at the moment.)
 
That'd be right, I make my Corvette that little faster with proper brakes and only have time for one last race where the early power down AWD cars just put the hurt on me. I really wish I had an LS3 V8 in my Vette, when you downgrade the LS7 this much by GT5:P's "Law of modification" it really has a bad torque curve. But I have more fun driving my Corvette than winning.:D
Sorry I didn't make it in many races wth anyone, but now I must stop racing an see you all possibly tomorrow.👍

Well, you only needed about 300 meters more to pass me I think :sly:. And yeah, longer races would be fun indeed.

anyway, I'm still starting every 15 minutes.

I'm in for pp600su unless everyone else is screaming through london 500pp ;)

Ah, and so were you, excelent 2nd place Timppaq, i hope it was a fair pass he made ;)

I'm happy with 3rd after doing a 360 in the chicane ;)
