Okay, as it stands I have a Belkin 54G router beaming the internet to me.

Will the PS3 be able to use WiFi with this or do I need to buy something else?
I couldn't find a useful answer anywhere on the web.

I have the same router and have a 20GB PS3, so mine is wired and I have great speed. Not sure how it will do on wireless

I have same router, I had it on wireless it works great but I tested it on download speed wireless then wired, downloading gran turismo HD when it came out. I don't know if it was net traffic but the wired was downloading faster, so I lfet it wired since my router is 1 foot away from the PS3

It was noticeable, maybe 2x the speed, but like i said it could have been high traffic also

I just got my ps3 and I downloaded the 1.54 update with wireless which took forever, downloading gthd once the connection was wired seemed to be going at a more reasonable speed. anyone know how big the updates are compared to the 650MB HD demo?
