Online Races You Hated

OK, I've got a different (bad) experience. Suzuka 600PP, my first race of the evening & it turns out I have ONE opponent (who will remain nameless). I start slow (as always!), overtake at the first turn. By the time I'm at the at the hairpin I'm 17 secs ahead!

So I figure the guys gone off somewhere & I wait on the back straight for him to catch up. Start up again, overtake him before the chicane & by the time I'm through the esses I'm 15 secs ahead again + the guy hasn't gone off! By the end of the 2nd lap I'm over 1 min ahead, & I can tell the guy hasn't gone off. This time I don't bother waiting, figuring somehow I've drawn the slowest driver in GT world.

Finish the race, load another one... yep, it's Me & Mr. Slowpoke again! Same thing happens again. Reload another race... "Just The Two Of Us" again!

Quit racing for an hour. Maybe it was a 7 year old?

brake failure i have expericenced it i think its all connection same with every online game if you hav a bad connection you can not drive fight etc

Are you sure this brake failure thing is not just the variable grip on different parts of the track...? If you wander off the racing line a bit into the marbles, it does simulate the loss of grip you would suffer on a real race track.. to some extent at least.

Just a-wondering. Its not something I've noticed myself so far.

I'm starting to wonder if this game is too easy, because there are far too many idiots who can keep up with GTP drivers

Today in the garage showdown there just had to be a couple of idiots show up to ruin races

First up was some clown in a GTR. I don't think there was one turn that he didn't overshoot. And if you were just ahead of him say good bye. But he was still able to keep up with us thanks to boost or whatever so we couldn't shake him and he tore alot of us apart

In another race there was this sad sad driver. He looked like he was driving with a keyboard his car jerked around so bad. And the sad part is he could keep up with us despite being extremely jerky in his steering movements and overshooting corners crazy.

These two chickens with their heads cut off can ruin your race.

It's easy to say wait for them to spin out but I have seen too many idiots who have pace to keep your life miserable throughout a race. PD needs to bring in HARDCORE races that remove the racing line and turn off AIDS so these clowns WILL SPIN OUT

I don't want ANYONE to talk about the AI of GT again after witnessing the driving of some real humans

me and some guy in an s2000 were battling for 1st, he was behind me on a straight and got slipstream and i let him past, on the next lap i was behind him on the same straight, got slipstream and when i got behind him and was about to go around him, he braked and i hit him which meant he got more speed and i slowed right down

Suzuka PP750 tonight with Chadwicksracing and L_Hamilton was a punterfest. I pulled to the side to let everyone pass so I wouldn't get punted on turn 1. But as I sat off to the side, a black S2000 punts me from behind, which pushes me in front of a punter. So, of course, I get punted into the sand off turn 1, exactly what I was trying to avoid . Time to avoid PP750 races for another three weeks.

But as I sat off to the side, a black S2000 punts me from behind, which pushes me in front of a punter. So, of course, I get punted into the sand off turn 1, exactly what I was trying to avoid . Time to avoid PP750 races for another three weeks.

Exactly what I was trying to avoid myself, I went to the rear of the field for the start of the race and I get punted any ways going into turn 1. Its just crazy..There is no way any one can get some kind of rhythm going to be competitive at PP750.. There are so many idiots out there.

I quit PP750 for about a month and I came back yesterday for the first time in month..And guess what happens my first race? As I go into the lead the 2nd place guy that I just passed didn't seem to think I deserved to be up front. So before the Chicane (Suzuka) he deliberately slammed my rear quarter panel to spin me out...It worked. So I think after today I won't be racing at PP750 again, for at least another month..Or until I am stupid enough to race there again.

I just can't fathom it..I can't..I guess with the way people drive on the interstates and highways I shouldn't expect anything less.

Just had a couple of races which have given me cause to consider giving up on online racing. And the worst thing was the cuplrits were all tagged drivers, 2 from this forum, and one from GTRP. Very disappointing. If anyone's ever seen me driving in a way that calls for me being punted off, please tell me, because unless I'm deluded I'm a very clean driver, and now one who's severely effed off.

Yesterday in the NTSC Tournament at HSR it was 6 GTP members in Audi R8s and 1 red Nissan 350Z tuned.

This guy saw all the tags all using R8s so he thought he'd show that he's hot stuff and he raced us 150%. He scared me so much I was weaving down the straights to make sure he didn't get behind me going into a braking zone. I knew it would end up in a punt.

But he got me in the way I'd least expect it.

Exiting the esses he pushed too hard and hit the wall right in front of me and slowed dramaticly in a spin, and I barely hit him and got a 4 second penalty.

Race Ruined

1 bad apple. 6 GTP drivers. Yet the bad apple managed to cause mayhem.

I admit I thought about spinning him out and putting him far behind us before he got one of us but of course that isn't right.
