I'm definitely in as long as I'm home. I wouldn't go the public route, I tried to create one a few days ago and every 3rd person would just run backwards and wreck everyone. Do I need to do anything to officially sign up for this?
I almost completely forgot about this. I'll try to organise a track day for this weekend, however not everyone may be able to enter due to time differences. If you're going to enter, please post your car choice. I'm thinking of banning certain cars like the X2010, Formula GT and the Ferrari F1 cars.
I'm thinking of starting the first trackday on either Friday or Saturday at 9PM GMT. Would this be a good time or not?
I've decided to organise a schedule for the first event. Please post if you would like it changed or if you would like another event added.
Approx 1 Hour: Free Run session in pre-nominated car
Approx 15 minutes: Show 'n Shine (Show off your rare and expensive cars)
Approx 30 minutes: Drag Races and Drift Runs (more details to be given out in the session).
Approx 10-20 minutes (depending on track): 2-4 lap race for photo shoot (you must be in your pre nominated car)
Rest of session: Free Run in any car
Remember to post your car choice and track votes in this thread.
If you are entering you'll have to add me on PSN as this will be a private session. My ID is thestig-13
______
Here are my track votes:
Cape Ring Periphery - 5
Eiger Nordwand/Change Weather - 4
Le Sarthe 2009/Change time/weather - 3
Tsukuba - 2
Deep Forest Reverse - 1
The car I will be using is the Volkswagen Samba Bus (don't laugh, it is actually highly tuned and can surprise some sportscars)
EDIT: Could a moderator please move this thread into the "GT5 Online Racing" forum.
I've decided to try and get this going again, hopefully there'll be enough interest to host a trackday every weekend. I'm thinking of a few timeslots for this, either from 10am AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) Saturday/Sunday or from 8pm Saturday AEST. (use a time converter to see what time this is in your time zone).
