Online weather setting help needed.

The league I'm in has run a series of 4 hour endurance races online, and no matter what we set the weather to, it always rains for the entire duration. Does anyone have a good weather setup that cause some variety in the weather? Looking for something that gives a chance for rain, and leaves the changeability in.

We have tried setting the changeability as 40, which led to alternating rain and dry periods, but left the track wet for the whole race. Just hoping someone has some thoughts. Thanks.
 
... i think, something is broken (prior to 1.09) ... the attached graphic shows 7.5 game-days.
Another similar test with 15x weather showed no rain at all. For now, i give up ...

It is sad, i want to use the weather in our time challenges :/ cheers, r.

(and there is possibly no new seed for the random generator. I got
two times - with 15x and 30x weather - exactly the same numbers)

Weather in gt6 is tricky to understand. I don't quite understand it, but I do know if you set weather changeability to fixed and weather to 50% it will rain for 50% of the race. If you set weather to 20% it will rain for 20% of the race and so on. So 100% weather will rain for the duration of the entire race. I wish I understood it because I remember one time somebody got it to snow at the autumn ring and that was a fun race. Also some times it snows on ssr7 and some times it rains. I wish I knew how to change temperatures like that. I think the time of day and weather changeability might be a factor.

I think my setup for random weather was something like this.

Time progression: 6
Weather changeability: 12
Weather: 20-30%
Surface water: Whatever you want it to be
 
You know, this question, with PD using the current Suzuka expert class seasonal weather setup as a tutorial would be a hell of a great idea.

I played with the weather and figured out how to make it snow there. You have to get the temp. down to 37 degrees or lower. The temperature seems to be pretty random though, but I think its at the lowest the earliest in the day. This is the settings I used to make it snow. It all depends on the temperature and it's random but if you're lucky it will snow.

Time of day - 9:00
Time progression - 1
Weather - 100%
Weather changeability - 1
Surface water - 10%
