Anybody figure how the online payout is calculated? I mean it feels completely random. I join a room, and out of a 12 car field, I come second. I get 150 XP and 500 CR. The next race (same room), I get 3rd out of a 8 car field. I get 2000 XP and 5500 CR. The amount of laps were the same both times. You would think I would make less money for finishing lower than before and in a smaller field. And it happens all the time. I'm guessing the length of the race plays a part, but I feel like there are many more factors.

I was in a room with 12 ppl 8 finished the race was at the Ring for 4 laps, using cars on Sports Soft tires with max bhp of 315 and weight min of 950kg. I won the race got 66000cr and 25000xp.

Id like to know how it works too. Does it matter if ppl leave during the race. I know the length of the race definitely matters. All other factors Im unaware of.

I was racing earlier online with 8 people on london and recieved 15000 credits for finishing 3rd. The first place winner received 30000 credits but I don't remember how much exp was received; by the way, it was 10 laps.

It depends hugely on the track, but also on number of laps, then number of people, and finally cars.

did a shuffle race last night. 5 laps at Daytona with 14 cars. got 4th place, got around 800cr and 400xp. Next race. 10 laps SSR5. 13 cars, I got 1st place, won 20k+ credits and 14k+ experience.

longer tracks = more experience
longer races = more experience
more drivers = more experience

at least that's been my general experience (no pun intended.)

The other night my buds and I were thinking track complexity had a factor as well.

I haven't done any online racing yet but people should start posting up their winnings so that we can start compiling the info and make some kind of chart of something. I would be helpful for grinding online.

so far, i've noticed that the more laps you have, the higher the payouts.
more players, more payouts.
closer competition, more payouts. (that is, rather than a fully built GT-R vs a lightly modded Miata, go for a SuperGT race. get everyone driving similar cars.)
difficult track, more payouts. (Indy Road Course will pay more than the Oval.)

So I raced online again and got first place on all 3 races on TokyoR324. There were 3 people for each race and I got 1500, 750, and 500 credits for each race in that order. I'm beginning to think it's random.
