It looks like its sitting in just an ordinary junkyard, so I'd guess no. Besides, the testbeds that they wreck are usually covered in all kinds of special paint and stickers and stuff.

Meh, accidents happen. I would be surprised if that wasn't fixable though.

Pretty spiffy insurance claim.

Ooooh. Now that's just a darm shame. :(

This is the Ferarri that you can't buy until you write a long essay about why you should be allowed to own one, right?

If I crashed an Enzo theres no way it would end up in a junk yard of any sort, that has to from a test. It's fixable, for a guy that has enough to buy the car in the first place it is anyway.

And an essay won't get you an Enzo, Ferrari picked out all their more loyal customers who met a certain criteria that included owning or having owned a certain number of other Ferrari's.

You know what? Cars are meant to be driven. I'd much rather see an Enzo die doing what it's meant to do - running hard and near the limit - then I would see it sit in some speculator/collector's garage forever because he knows it will get more valuable if it is never driven.

Besides, like Giles said, that's pretty fixable.

Don't sweat it. I work in a body shop. That colision is very minor. Just think if the front end wasnt all plastic and carbon fiber, and fiberglass that collision wouldnt have been all that bad. Its very fixable. Just the resale value of the car droped down to $1,500,000 after it is repaired :odd:

No damage to the rear, so no engine damage. Yeah, fixable.

BTW, for those who let it sit in a garage for 20-30 years probably won't get to drive it cause the world may not have much oil left. Even if there is, it would be very expensive and it won't last.

Theres plenty of oil still around, we just can't get at 98% of it. In 20 years though who knows.

I'd think the entire front end would have to be replaced, especially the carbon fiber body and undertray. There's probably a lot of fans and cooling bits in the front end too.

And the cost of replacement parts from Italy also.

If any.

I'd guess you'd have to send the actual car back to Italy. How many American mechanics know how to put an Enzo back together?

That stuff by the front-right of the car is the official Ferrari Enzo Ferrari luggage set - stowed in the front, I believe.

Still, the front end actually looks better now.

Yep. I know I wouldn't want to be a person who could afford an Enzo.

You had to own an F40 or F50 to even be considered to buy one, I think.

[Nelson Muntz] Ha-Ha![/Nelson Muntz]

Chances are Ferrari would be willing to repair it for a very, very healthy fee.

Both, actually. If you have owned wither a F40 or F50 (one or the other,) You have a 50/50 chance.

Exactly... lol  God it sux to be that guy, but consider how much he paid for this car and all others he owns or owned just to be considered for the purchase of this car. I think the words out of his mouth at the body shop will be: "Cash? or cheque?"

Yeah too bad Ferrari is gay. ;)

How do you know the sexual orientation of a car? I'm not a Ferrari fan myself (obviously) but that was retarded.
