Get maybe one or two modern skylines if you don't care for them, but look out for some of the oldies. Especially the SKYLINE Sport Coupe (BLRA-3) '62. That thing is just cool.

Ok so i tried the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V?spec II Nür (R34) '02 using this tuning setup. It is pretty fast and handles okay but still not as good as i was hoping/expecting. Does anyone know if this is a good tune or is there a better tune etc.
 
Ok after a few weeks i have tried out the SKYLINE GT-R V•spec II Nür (R34) '02 and another (i forget the name) and well....i am still not feeling it. I was very disappointed as they were recommended and they just didn't do anything for me. I played around with the tuning and i just couldn't enjoy them. Any suggestions at all?
 
R35 (GTR) for me, i was always a fan of the skyline, but the first one that really blew me away was the GTR, it's the first one that was sold as a supercar and not as a platform to be upgraded. They are all awesome cars, but the GTR R35 does it for me.
 
Maybe it´s not the most popular model, but I like the "SKYLINE HT 2000 RS-X Turbo" just for its solid looks and considering its age, plenty of power under the hood..
 
the r34 premium is the way to go, end of story

the new gtr isnt even a skyline so buy it anyways
 
I think you have to be a proper Japanese car nut to really appreciate the massive variety of Skylines in the game, but if you're not, the R34 is basically all you need, I guess. Personally I love all the variations and I think I have them all now, but I'm not sure. My top five would be the KPGC10, Nismo 400R, R30, R32 GTS-t M and the R34 V-Spec II N1 Nür, I guess.
 
Uhm... nobody thought of the Nismo 400R???

It's insane even standard :D
(although weight reduction/springs/sports soft make it even better)
 
So, what exactly are all the differences in the different models? For example how does the R34 GTR M-Spec stack up to a normal R34 GTR? And in what ways is the V-Spec II better than the V-Spec?
 
the lil kid in me says to get the Gran Turismo Skyline Pace Car .... just for the flashing lights! ;D

PD did a good job of making the Skylines handle differently based on many factors. When you see "Vspec" etc that stands for "Victory Spec". These cars in reality and on the game differ from the normal Skyline in terms of stock power, weight, suspension, wheels etc.

With a wheel, drive a stock R32 GTS-T and then drive a stock R32 GT-R from the dealership you will see the difference.

The gtst is RWD and the GTR is AWD yes there will be a difference. :dunce:
 
I like them all. I've just started testing and tuning all my GTRs and so far the GTR Concept LM has been the fastest. Next is the R35 Spec V 09, then R34 Nur Premium, then the R32 Premium.

OK seriously. If you took every skyline from my garage it might be a month before I noticed. Even longer before I cared. For whatever reason I just don't enjoy them.

The only skylines I enjoy are the race cars. And they're not really skylines at all. Just a skyline-shaped body on a tube chassis.
 
I'm pretty sure I didn't miss some one else saying this and I'm surprised no one did. The Amuse Carbon R left all stock. What a fun car to drive.
 
If you're getting a R34, get the Mine's BNR34 from the NCD.

If you want a RWD one, look for a Blitz D1GP one.

The regular one in the Nissan dealer is rubbish. It maxes around 400HP, as compared with the R33 which clocks in at over 550HP. I prefer my Nissan R33.
