That rebuilding scheme by McLaren reflects just why people actually buy them for more than they were worth brand new. Those things get absolutely hammered year-in and year-out. I've noticed that many current pictures of McLaren F1s show rock chips everywhere.

And people ask why enthusiasts drool over them... because they're driven, baby, they're driven hard. :lol:

Unlike other supercars, that's actually very true. Many are spotted usually in 1 location at 1 event every year such as the black F1 seen at Spa every year (although surprisingly, for a man who drives his old classic cars a lot, Jay Leno's is rarely seen).

I must really put aside some time to take a trip to Woking, England, and explore the McLaren Center in the near future.
