StarLight presents a Rally- Raid car for the upcoming Dakar 2015 which will begin on the 4th of February 2012, an Hungarian Team will take the Opel Mokka for this tremendous endurance challenge for man and machine.
Opel has back his race colors on the most cars nowadays ... and on this one, I liked it very much.
It seems that nobody wants to miss the 2015 edition of the Dakar. With the arrival of Peugeot, involving almost confirmed names like Nasser Al-Attiyah and Robby Gordon finding prominence by the other brands is evident.
A good example is presented by Opel Mokka during the celebration of Moscow Automobile Salon.
The model still comes from a Hungarian private initiative (with behind the wheel Bunkoczi Lazlo and -Szalay Balazs) but have some support from Opel Motorsport (as we may well see in the characteristic colors reflected in the Mokka) that since the filing of his Adam R2 seems to slowly get back to the nose in the world of racing.
An huge tank capacity of 520 liters allows to pass great distances at maximum speed. Some components of a body made racing Mokka and light and heavy-duty carbon fiber. Under the hood of the car is placed V8 engine capacity of 6.2 liters, which produces 340 hp and 660 Nmft of torque. Is transmitted to all four wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox.
However, one should not rule out a greater involvement by the German firm that looks like Mini, Peugeot, Toyota and Ford have their place in the Rally-Raid harder the planet.
