I got sick of IE6 screwing up all the time so I tryed Opera 6 and thought it was good...it makes the images load faster, you can have multiple web pages on screen, you can disable pop-up windows, zoom in/out of web pages and also, you can change the skin of it.

Get it from Opera's website

See the screenshot below...

I might dl this when I install XP. I heard the free version was ad supported. I hope that aint true.

Afraid so. Though there are hacks on the `Net to remove the ad thing.

Opera is most bad ass, indeed.

This reminds me of NeoPlanet, except NeoPlanet was just a shell over the IE source code. Is Opera 6 a self contained app like Netscape?

What are some of the incompatablity issues you guys have found with it and vBulletin?

Wow, major weirdage on tables. And for some reason it leaves off the "express reply" box.

Screen shots coming.

Wait, now the express reply is here. Maybe you were 'tweaking' ??

Here's first screenshot.

I see differences in fonts between the three browsers - IE 6sp1, Mozilla 1.1, and Opera 5.12. They also generate tables slightly differently. And the alignment on some table cells are off. It doesn't destroy the page, but it does generate it differently.

I'm using Internet Explorer Version 6.0.2600.0000IS etc..........

Anyway It's crashes heaps but I think if I install something else my brother will through a fit at me.........

If you are using a *real* operating system, any of the current version browsers are going to be fine.

*real* operating system being Windows NT/2000/XP, OS X, Linux, BSD, Solaris ... aw heck, a UNIX or Windows NT+.

Windows 95/98/ME and Mac OS 9- don't count as *real*.
