The GR.1 class is a mess. I think subcategories like Group C, LMP1 hybrids would be a good solution. In addition, of course, a balance between cars in the same subcategory (Yes, that was a dig at Nissan)

Well, even between cars from the same era, the difference is brutal. The Porsche 919, for example, is completely outstanding, much better than any other even with BoP activated.

That is not solved by addind new race groups, but by fixing BoP (or removing car differences and let them all have the same performance no matter their appearance).

In Sport Mode? Yes, absolutely, it's been needed for a long time. No arguments there.
In the single-player? No thanks. You have to pick a lane between "I can tune my car up and enter it into this racing series" and "Only these homologated cars can enter this racing series", the two concepts don't mesh well. To me, a GT single player campaign is much better as the former than the latter.
