Opponent cars in multiplayer arcade mode? is it possible?

Is it possible to have the computer cars race together with you and another friend? It gets boring just beating the heck out of your friend, this would give him/her something to chase after, because I'm a more skilled driver.

Also, is it possible to use the i-link and play split screen with two playstations and four buddies?
It outta be, if not possible yet!

GT4 should implement this and alos allow a one player mode split screen that has the second screen be a live clip of you driving...like in the replays. Make is a picture in picture where you can get that tv driving effect and see your car in live action. That would be sooooo cool!!!
 
Nope. You can race the AI, or you can race your friend. Not both.

You can, however, change the settings to make a tighter race. In the control panels, there is an option to speed up the slower car when it gets too far behind. You can use that to make the races more even.
 
i.link is strictly a one player per playstation/TV thing, but you can have one or more spare PS2s showing the race in a sort of replay mode, but live.

Hopefully GT4 allows AI cars in multipler mode. The game would definately be more fun for friends that don't like losing but want to play GT because of the realistic cars. My friend complain about how boring and slow the game is, but they enjoy other games where they have other opponents to chase. This game is the BEST!

It needs a better sound track like Need 4 Speed Hot Pursuit 2. What do you guys think about N4SHP2?
 
That would be kind of interesting... see if you can use the AI to outmaneuvre your buddy.

hey i played with my freind with i.link and i actually went n with my friend and played with the AI..
