If you use all pre-1985 cars you may eliminate some potential future event races due to overlapping car usage. If that's not a concern or issue, I say do all. As far as ABS, I would say if someone doesn't want to use it, they don't have to. No reason to make a rule for all since these events are just for fun and there are no points or championships.

I'm not too concerned about overlapping cars, we can use some of them again in possible future events. At least we know they'd be broken-in and painted. :)

I kind of had the opposite line of thinking about the ABS. Since there aren't any points on the line this would be a good time to try some no ABS racing so everyone can get a taste of it without any pressure. I doubt many people would go no-ABS voluntarily if they knew the majority of the field was using ABS, put them at a disadvantage. But these cars are fairly friendly with ABS off and it's just for fun so I thought this might be a good time to try it. But if the majority isn't interested in giving no-ABS a try I won't worry about it.

I'll be one tonite, although I'll be a bit late for the 8PM timeslot. Got to get some more stacks for the gat.

Yeah, I'll be on in about an hour. Watching a documentary on last year's Rolex 24, I'll be ready to race when it's done.

I went and tore it up in some vacant parking lots earlier today, but the po-po didn't take too kindly... Good think I know them all! :sly:

Ill go along with no ABS if the majority want to, but I will make known that I use a ds2 and the likelihood of me sliding into others would be around 80%-90%. Ill also be around for practice tonight.

Yeah... Another DS3 racer here. Racing with no ABS is a pain even with the brake balance at 0/0, I usually just avoid it for the best interest of everyone.

I think going no ABS would likely be counterproductive to my attempts to create "fun" racing so I won't be doing it. I just kinda wondered what the consensus was here.

I'm headed to the lounge know, got a few sweet 8tracks to jam too in my Skyline.
 
'73 Skyline 2000GT-R good to use? Has about 164hp... 323PP. And tuning prohibited correct??

^ I'll have to watch when I get home from work. I did see a side-profile photo on Facebook, didn't look drastically different from this year. I thought they were doing away with that ugly nose buy placing some kind of faux cover on it?

It's mentioned in the video, the "several grams" of cosmetically added weight apparently isn't worth it... Not that I blame them. :lol:
