If you use all pre-1985 cars you may eliminate some potential future event races due to overlapping car usage. If that's not a concern or issue, I say do all. As far as ABS, I would say if someone doesn't want to use it, they don't have to. No reason to make a rule for all since these events are just for fun and there are no points or championships.
I'm not too concerned about overlapping cars, we can use some of them again in possible future events. At least we know they'd be broken-in and painted.
I kind of had the opposite line of thinking about the ABS. Since there aren't any points on the line this would be a good time to try some no ABS racing so everyone can get a taste of it without any pressure. I doubt many people would go no-ABS voluntarily if they knew the majority of the field was using ABS, put them at a disadvantage. But these cars are fairly friendly with ABS off and it's just for fun so I thought this might be a good time to try it. But if the majority isn't interested in giving no-ABS a try I won't worry about it.
