I'm sorry, I assumed team mates had to be in the same car. What I meant was if Team A was driving, for example, a NSX Type R '02 could Team B then choose to drive the same car?
After a review I have re-written but not changed the format of events. Hopefully this will clear it up for everyone:
- Where events are one vehicle specific, any event type, each team will use a different vehicle colour unless colour is pre determined by vehicle model.
- Where events are non vehicle specific, Championship or Super Cup Event, a team must use the same car. Other teams may not replicate a vehicle in use.
- Where events are non vehicle specific, Cup Event, vehicles may be the same but must be different in colour.
So, if you chose the NSX, its yours for you and your team mate only. First come first served as always when choices need to be made or places are getting low for an event.
RULE UPDATE:
Regarding disconnections, rather that have a 5 minute period where the race can be restarted all drivers need to be aware of these changes;
Disconnections:
If a driver(s) have a disconnection problem and are removed from the race during the first lap then the race is aborted and restarted. All drivers must return to the lobby and await the disconnected driver(s) return.
The admin member hosting will then restart the race after 5 minutes using the Fastest First option from the available race start list. Only 1 restart per race. Any drivers who fail to return will not be able to race.
If after a race has been restarted, any drivers that are disconnected will be given points depending on how many drivers are racing. Disconnected drivers will be given points for last place, in order of disconnection based on race distance completed. If more than 10 drivers are present, any drivers who disconnects and are out of points placement will receive 0 points.
For example;
11 members attend a 10 lap race
3 drivers disconnect, driver A on lap 6, driver B on lap 7 and driver C on lap 9.
Driver C will be given points for 9th place, driver B will be given points for 10th place and driver A will receive 0 points.
This system also relies on drivers not faking disconnection and rage quitting. Any driver found to be doing so may be removed from the ORDL.
This ensures all drivers know the procedure and are not racing wondering if they should go to lobby or not.
