Original Owners?

I think there should be something included in a patch, that when you make a vehicle trade with someone, the original owner's PSN would be attached to that car.

Then, if possible, when the user who received a car wins a race, a pre-determined percentage of XP should go back to the original car's owner. We all complain about how much we have to grind -- This way, we'd be getting small XP numbers here and there from vehicles we've traded away, and people actually use. If they don't use them, however... that wouldn't be very beneficial. It needs an option to say "Yes, I would like to receive a percentage of XP from this user" or something. It wouldn't take any away from the driver who is doing the winning, but it would generate something like 10%-15% of the XP that is won.

yeah but then if a car gets traded mulitple times then the newest owner 7 times down the line wouldnt get any xp.
 
Questions and answers thread probably, interesting idea though. I think the fact that the way someone has earned their car, goes into their thought when trading their hard earned car. But having owners names on cars might devalue cars. E.g "how many owners has it had"

But I would like my name on there! Especially if I was a first owner!

But if the newest owner happens to trade a car that gets traded another 7 times as well, he's still getting 7 times the XP from his car.

It promotes trading, does it not? Also, if new players are getting these cars they can't buy yet, and winning races, it helps them out, and in return (by XP %) it helps veteran players as well.
 
Dunno about the XP thing, but Forza 3's cars had a viewable history which told you how many owners etc...

Just saying.
