Original Racing suit and helmet changes

Hi guys i was just wondering if you change from your original suit (i mean the racing helmet/suit combination before the update with additional suits and helmets) into new ones you have won, do you keep the original suit?

In clearer words, when I started the game (before the 1.10 update) i chose the grey helmet and suit. (They have names now after the 1.10 update) If i changed into ones that I have won after 1.10, do i keep the helmet and suit that i chose at when i started GT5?

No problem because I change the racing suit for my driver and noticed the original ones don't show up in selection of where you find the ones that you have won from the seasonals.
 
ok i see, dang it i like the ones i have now, i'll have to try and win them again so i can change back into them any time i want :D
 
Well, I'll contradict Racer283's answer, sorry :p.

In my own experience, as far as I remember, I kept the original suit from me and my B-Spec drivers after I changed it. They'll go to the Racing Suit/Helmet list under your Items. If not, then I don't know how the hell I got three copies of the same Suit/Helmet combination (given that me and 2 other of my Bobs shared the same suit).

But did you change your drivers outfit when you created him?
 
Note down the name of the helmet and suit. Change it. If you don't get the old ones in your items list, I'll replace it. No matter what it takes.

It's amazing how many people are cool like this on GT5. Yesterday I was trading for chrome and MNLumberjack gave some just because he felt like being nice.

What do you mean? If I changed the outfit my drivers had when I originally created them to others? Yes. And I kept the suits and helmets they originally had after I changed them to others.
 
I guess you do keep them but I guess I don't really pay attention to what happened to them after I change the suits of my driver. Thanks for clearing that up.

Sort your items by "Date Acquired" the last suit you changed will appear first. ;)

From my experience, yes you can change your suit/helmet to the new ones and maintain the old ones, and switch them back anytime you want.👍
