Sounds like I missed out on a great season opener... 👎 ...and in the SLS too... ...at Nurburgring...

That was possibly the race I was most looking forward too, but what can you do when your modem packs up.

On another note, I think I have the modem back under control and it seems to be working, I got it up and running yesterday afternoon and will most likely be online today to give it a GT5 test run and make sure it is all sweet for next week.

Also Oni, did you still want me to run a qualifier? I know I will be Tier 1 anyway but it is more a question of do you want a time to record for me or does it not matter? I can run some laps and let you know if you would like, or not... Your call mate.

Don't get off it too quick mate, I got it yesterday and have done a grand total of... 2 races...

But I'm loving it and would like to find a partner to run the Co-op Championship with if you (or anyone here) has it and wants to run a Co-op Championship. I am not fussed which team we use, I just want to race. 💡

Currently racing for Force India in Career mode so obviously not fussed who we use! Although, if memory serves I read something that said all cars are equal in Co-op mode, it is just different liveries that set them apart...? Yes?

I won't be getting off it any time soon, I'm loving it. Sadly, there isn't that much to do. You can't play online right now, because everyone is using the 11/11 spring cheat. So you really can only play with friends, and I hardly ever have any friends playing it because the majority of you got it for PC.

I'd love to do a co-op season with you, but I started one with wayne a few days ago, and you can only do it with 1 friend. 👎

Look forward to doing some online races atleast, though

Those mountains look beautiful Lost. I've got a mate who's part New Zealander, he goes over every now and again. Says you have the best ice cream in the world , and your beaches are better than the ones we have in Aus as well. Just a shame you don't have the weather to go with it

What is this 'cheat' you speak of...? Do you get some huge handling performance advantage having the springs set at 11/11?...

People always find ways to cheat... 👎 ...I have been running the springs at 1/11 as my starting point so far, creates turn-in understeer but you get awesome mid-corner grip and thus better exit speed which is what it's all about. 👍

As for the one Co-op per PSN Account, do you have another account?... 💡 ...You could always have one Championship going with Waynz on one and me on another... Just a thought! 👍

I have a few accounts so if more than one person needs a Co-op team-mate I can have multiples, although the constraining factor would then be free time...

Setting it too 11/11 gives you a car that handles like god. 5 seconds a lap faster. I don't know if it's only 11/11, or if 10/10 does the same sort of thing, but not as good. If it's just 11/11, then I'll be happy and I'll play around with settings a little more. I'll experiment with it tonight.

I have got another acount. I'm fairly sure it's Schumacher_5, don't bother adding it right now though, because I'm not 100% sure. If it's not set up yet, I'll create it tonight, and I'd be happy to start one whenever you're ready.

Well worth doing, it is one of the greatest places to go. And airfares are so cheap, I know of people who will go there for less than a week due to the 'per day cost' being so low. So you don't need to think of it as a 3-4 week trip.

I'd say wait till the RWC final... but the way the Wallabies are playing I don't even think they'll make it

Also looks as if I've fixed the problem with my PS3 shutting off, Re'glued' the CPU and GPU with Arctic Silver 5 today, and running a torture test* now which seems to be fine.

*B-Spec JGTC round in the wet at Suzuka... previously it wouldn't last 3 laps.

EDIT: OK it seems if I have the PS3 and the TV running I have no problems.... BUT if I turn the TV off it red lights and shuts off.

So far I haven't had it turn off when actually playing the game, so that is good and should let me participate in this race series without a bunch of DNF's next to my name

But it means I can't do any B-Spec or remote-racing and switch over to PC which also runs thru the TV... bummer
