No, its just that i'm not 100% sure it will work, as in, "see all the drivers and not be disconnected", like the last time. I'm praying that it works.

Im guessing thats gt fluro 004-w?

I think its more about the net issues he had last series that stopped him. Hopefully its sorted now as he said. We have enough wildcards that could jump in so we should be ok.

NOTICE TO ALL DRIVERS!!

Before entering my lounge tonight for the race ENSURE you do the following;

  • Run an internet connection test under the PS3's XMB network settings
  • Make sure the NAT type is displayed during the test
  • Turn OFF your PS3's media server
  • In GT5 go to options/network and clear your cache

Everyone needs to ensure they do the above as this will result in a nice lag free race for us all.

Also, the MX-5. Mine is over 470pp, i have a habit of tuning for absolute no reason, is that how it came stock? Im not sure what parts i might have added. Can anyone tell me the engine parts that come stock with it?

Yeah the MX-5 is over the 470pp as the CR-Z is below 470pp. In order to make them competitive the MX-5 needs to either run with less aero or power limit it abit. That is up to the driver as apart of their 'tune'.

A stock MX-5 TC shouldn't have anything on it apart from the stock stuff it came with. So no turbo's, super chargers or stage 2-3 engine tuning. I believe it comes stock with a stage 1 engine tune like the CR-Z

That it does mate, ONI how can we control the body rigidly? It's not inclusive but when u allow tuning you can't tell either

Body Rigidly is up to you if you want to use it. It's permitted.

The thing with Body Rigidity upgrade is on some cars it really stuffs up the handling and other cars it helps. Problem with it is you cannot uninstall it so if you install it and it makes your car worse then well tough luck.

I seldom install the rigidity option on race cars.

If your not racing, best not to jump in the room, only because... and i might be wrong, but the more people in a room, the more potential there is for lag. If im wrong then yeh jump in, but if im right, no point just sitting there watching the race if it increases our chances of an unstable connection.

Also I was just talking to stig and after reading about that GTP north loop 24hr thingy, was wondering if any of you guys are keen to do a race there. Obviously not 24hr, but was thinking maybe 10 to 15 laps, with weather and everything on. Just seeing if there is any interest, we could run in teams if there is enough and run it on a day that harvests the most people. Just a one off thing, if its good we can continue to do it on whatever day. I was thinking Sunday night as most people are home then... if any other ideas, shoot them out there.

This Sunday? Ill be @ eastern creek doing the 6hr race this weekend, so otherwise i don't have to much of a problem

Hope you boys had a good race!

unfortunately i copped a rear-end hit going into t5 which heavily damaged my rr. I continued on, trying to keep it together down the back straight. I made it to the hairpin when someone side swiped me and i got shunted into the barrier :grumpy: Limped back to the pits and decided to stick with it, until about 20ish laps in, was drafting wilco down the back straight and bang, lag spike demolished my car :ouch:

i flicked to wilco after i left the track. The game was telling me his car was heavily damaged too, but he seemed to be getting around okay, so i assume due to the lag spike it was mis-reporting damage on his car. i stayed long enough to see oni and wilco have a collision :-(

After that last hit, it would have taken me a minute just to limp back to the pits, and i was never going to come anywhere but last, and by a long way.. so i would rather spend time with my kids than drive by myself for another 20+ laps... i can do that offline. I joined this comp for the fun/close racing with some good blokes .👍.. hope next week is cleaner and less laggy :-)

I know how you feel.

I on the other hand, was so happy after the race, that i was able to complete the whole race, and see everyone, and no driver was lagging. Can't wait for the tight night street circuit of SSR5.

...And also, sorry about that qualy incident. It won't happen again, i will take my time, and make sure the free run is selected next time.

I just tried staying out of everyones way in the end.

Cheers mate.. i had a good time chasing you down and after the crash you made a great comeback from 8th to 4th.. nice driving!

I had a watch of the replay today and i must say everyone was driving Superbly. I don't think i witnessed any cuts from anyone. There was a few incidents on lap one but i think it was the result of typical first lap lag.

I have to say the sponsors are ecstatic with Evan's drive.. pulled off a 3rd place result giving Super Sic Racing 2 podiums! Awesome driving mate!

Velster - It was good to have you join us. The after party on a race night is never serious and we all just play around (NASCAR for example). It's a great way to relax after every race.

Well that sucks haha last and DNF for team colour blind in first race haha
And will be missing next race so no points for me next week either.. :( Ganna have to drive the pants off my MX-5 for the rest of the series!

Where did you get that idea from? Only team points were removed.
