The Esperante GTR-1 is in the LMGT class because of the incorrect weight Gran Turismo has given it, making it unable to compete with the GT1 class. Same goes for the XJ220 Race Car and the F1 GTR '95, these are early GT1 models that does not posses the downforce and turning ability to compete with later GT1 models. Hints the "Longtail McLaren" as a successor to the '95 model to compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, Porsche 911 GT1 etc...

*More classes and cars may be added at a later date

Already done the work for you ;)
