Ok guys, i need some utility to overclock a Pentium 2. Im just doing this for fun, since i have a better computer im using. If you can find a program, how about some website? Forum?

Bit of a harsh reply, but if you have to ask how to overclock your hardware, you probably shouldn't be doing it. Google should be able to supply you with anything you need...

The motherboard probably doesn't support overclocking, however I don't know if there are any programs.

I have overclocked before.

You need to put arrange the jumpers over the paticular pins on the motherboard to determine your clock speed.

I'll just advise P2 is going to be hell to OC man.

I'd say at least OC an old Pentium 3 if you can salvage one. P2s are a b**** to OC.

Well alright, i though i might as well play around with the pentium 2 computer i got for free, but i guess its not worth it. Now i need to find some dummy throwing out a pentium 3.......

A P2 would be OK to salvage an turn into another machine (just maybe an everyday machine, not a gaming machine). P2's can also be made into pretty Christmas Tree ornaments.

I got bored and i took the Hardrive out of that computer. Now i want to put it into the computer i use everday, what do i need to know?

BTW, the computer im putting it into has a Windows XP O/S.
I just want to take some files off of it.

I'm guessing it's an IDE drive. Do you have any IDE Cable space left in your current machine?
