Dear Apex Driver, I am glad to hear you are falling back in love with the game. I too was a bit disappointed with it at first, with kind of a longing for some gt4 aspects. But like you, I basically "started over". The genius of this game will continue to unfold for quite some time and for car lovers, like me, it is truly getting better all the time. Kaz rocks!
 
I just got some money from the Nascar beginner event race and bought a Ferrari 512BB. It just happens to be able to qualify for 4 of the races in the Expert and below sections, classics included.

It's practically cheating using that car if you beef it up at all. It doesn't pay for itself, but it was close.
 
Not at all and I don't see myself getting tired of it anytime soon. I've been waiting to try out all the cars in my garage and trying to destroy the 'Ring'. This is where my true joy comes from...just feeling the physics of the game and being able to push the car to the limit without losing control. Sure damage isn't up to snuff, and there are other flaws within the game...but when yer blasting down the Nurburgring in a your R32 GTR...there's nothing better. :)
