Overrated countries...

Since when does "personal experience" have to mean going someplace. I'd like to know how many anti-Americans worldwide have ever been here. The notion that to have an opinion of a place one must have been to the place is false. Hm... makes you wonder, though.

I think the most Overrated Country is France IMO. The country gets to much notice and flaunts itself above everyone else. Many dream of going there, however when i went, it is absoultely nothing special. They hype the country to much.

The only thing I'm wondering MF is , when is somebody going to tell you to shut your mouth?? you are such an annoying guy... you don't know it all and you do live in the most screwed up country going.. just live with it..

So you're allowed to insult America, but when he insults Ireland you ask him to shut it and if he has any respect? Well then I have this to say about your consistent baseless America-bashing: Shut it. Haven't you got any respect? Give us all a break for mmmm 5 years.
 
Because everything in Japan is awesome. Nothing from Japan can be bad. Japan is amazing. Take anime for instance. Absolutely the greatest artform ever created.

i have consistantly insulted your american attitude only not the country.. I know people from my country who might have the same attitude and they are not liked either.. I think little mosquito boy actually was a bit more insulting, " They need invaded" or some crap he said..

I do hold anime in high regard.
Another notion I have is that we wouldn't even be debating such a topic if it wasn't for Japan and its people. If Sony didn't exist there would be no PS2, therefore no Gran Turismo, therefore no GTP.
And let's not tamper with the idea of the Gran Turismo series existing on some other platform had the PS2 not seen daylight. That should be the like the 11th commandment.

Japan sort of has a few 'cultural identity' issues, but I wouldn't deem them most overrated.
 
Japan can't be the most overrated country. Look at their women. I mean they're right up there with Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Korea.
 
The most overated country is Afghanistan why the hell does it get all the media attention why not Uzebekistan it has the coolest name. Give the media something to talk about the land with the coolest name Uzebekistan!!

Uzbekistan's name may seem cool, but it's nothing compared to the wonders of Byelorus (sometimes spelled Belarus - but that won't score well in Scrabble), Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Burkina Faso and Djibouti.

Uzbekistan is over-rated!
