Overview of GT7 Telemetry Software

To be clear, this is telemetry data, saved on my laptop. I'm comparing two files of collected telemetry, all gathered live.

I know - that’s my point. I don’t think the game is saving this data in its recovery file at the same rate as you are.

Well, true. But the game itself did things wrong: It restarted me one lap prior to my last saved point, complete with pre-pit fuel levels. The telemetry then faithfully reported that.

I guess my purpose for posting this was simply as a warning. If you're building software that does capture the telemetry across sessions and you expect it to be coherent, you might be in for a surprise.
