Pad users only best time on Silverstone

Don't have a wheel, and with my pad i reached a 2,22,251 so far.
Starting this thread to be able to compare how good i am as the wheel masterrace is probably taking all the top positions in every leaderboard and it's difficult to get an idea :)
 
A friend of mine got a 2:19.x he also uses the d-pad.

Pad and ABS0 TCS0 - I think I got Silver after a 3 laps. First lap was a sighter... but I over ran Club... Bang Red lap... and the next lap is a red lap too!

Nice track odd feel to the car, but probably down to the Brake Bias and the GT6 tyre physics - And my lack of talent!

There is a guy who did a 2:17.500 with a controller. He is 3rd in Spain (VTR_puzzle)

edit: The best time with the pad is sutekinakako1 from Japan who did it in 2:18.795

My record so far is 2:21.286. You can start off by beating that ;)

That guy should work as a doctor or something with those sensitive thumbs.
 
I have got 2:21:392... But I have no idea how that dude did in 17:5.. Great work from his side. but you can go further than my best lap, takes some practice.

That is a nice find.. But I like the name of the fastest German racer ^^

By the way, I found this really useful, if you do use 0 TCS, thats faster, but you get the rear wheel spining problem, mostly on the 2nd gear, but if you grea up into 3rd a little early, wheels wont actually spin, that helps you to get to speed faster sometimes.

I race him online all the time! We are pretty even, race pace wise. We always have close races. :)

Small world, I also have raced him many times. Great racer.
 
Mine is 2:22.525 and I'm using DS3.I hope I can do better than that... By the way I'm using Automatic...:indiff:
 
2:24.093 with a stick, no ABS or any other assists. Did it on my 3rd lap :) Haven't driven again since then.
 
So far 2'23.440 with DS3. No aids, abs 1.
Not many laps yet so I should be able to lose at least another second.
I doubt I will be getting sub 2'20 though.......
 
My best time so far is a 2:22:000, UK Region.

I haven't been able to better it so far as I always end up invalidating my laps when I'm on a fast one. If can get under the '22 mark or near '21 I'll be quite happy and call it quits.
 
Just check the Japanese board, 1ºSamurai_405 2.17,299 on the pad.
Now I feel ashamed....
 
My best with DS3-1:21.066. But my wheel is coming tomarow so I will be interested to see how long it takes me to match that time and how much better I can do.

Be sure to post how you get along after you get used to the wheel, interesting to see if it does make that much of a difference :)

The best I've managed so far is 2:21.953. ABS is set to 1and everything else is off. I know I can do better than that but I keep getting greedy on a fast lap.
 
High 2:21:1 on my DS3. Top 40 on danish leaderboard, 7th fastest danish DS3 user.. It might be early in the competition, but it could definitely look worse :dopey:

That's the opposite of my problem. When I have a great lap, I always ruin it by going slow through the last few corners :banghead:
 
@IttyBitty Stigy which wheel are you getting hands on ? I am in the same situation , but I am getting the g27 in autumn, wish you good luck with your times tho ^^

It says 2:20.914 on mygranturismo. I'll see what I can do tomorrow :)

edit: Denmark is better than Sweden :(. I'm Rank 32 and 3rd best with a pad in Sweden.
