The reason why I ask, is b/c someone that is paralyzed wants a GT2, but needs the paddles to act as gas/brake. I am not sure whether or not you can map the wheel so the gas/brake is anything other than Pedals. If so, he can use it the way he needs to.

His right paddle just broke on his M$ wheel, and he wants a GT2, not another M$ wheel. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Guys,

This is going to depend on the game to a large degree. Which game(s) are they playing?

I can give it a go tonight, provided I have the game of course.

I would imagine if it's possible on the Xbox wheel it could be replicated on the GT2.

Seems a shame to fork out all that money and not be able to use anything more than 270 degrees. It's imperative that his hands stay at the same position on the wheel.

You know, they have cars out for disabled people with no legs. Pity someone couldn't make up a rig with peddles activated by some sort of lever.

I have a shoulder injury which means I drive an automatic in real life with a steering ball.

My sim driving involves my WSP tucked right into me to allow two handed driving.
Imagine elbows at my side milking a cow jobby. Lol.

Still can't drift though.

Feel for the guy.

Anything what works with the MS wheel should be possible with our wheel as well. But our paddles were not designed for this permanent stress. The CSR shifter paddles have a more sturdier construction so I would suggest to wait.

Thanks Thomas. I forwarded your post to the person asking. Again, thanks.......

As I'm not member at Eutechyx forum, I ask here. Why did you wrote there that CSR will be about 70-80$ cheaper than GT2. If I remember correctly didn't Thomas say that they are both about the same cost-wise. (I may be wrong.)

I am making an assumption based off of what I think it will be. You might be right. But, based off of all the numbers out there, that made sense for the price of that wheel. I think Thomas said the base CSR would be slightly cheaper than the GT2.

The Logitech Wireless wheel uses paddle shifters as brake and gas 👍

What about the new "hold it youreself" wireless wheel?
