That is a close contest, obviously the Zonda race car is a fine piece of machinery, but the non-race Zonda models don't compare to the CTR2 and especially the RGT which are great non-race models.

Uh, the Pagani Zonda is a supercar. ;)

the ruf's are defently better handling but the looks of the zonda's are amazing...but id take handling over looks i guess...
The zonda race car handles quite nicely though :)

I like the Zonda better, but I don't feel that PD got the characteristics of the Zonda quite right. It's supposed to be one of the hottest supercars on the planet. In GT3 it's just middle-of-the-road. But what a nice middle-of-the-road it is.

As opposed to the RUFs ?..

IMHO - The RUFs a far better cars than the Paganis. Artois and his merry men really know how to transform something as "ordinary" as a Porsche into a wicked supercar.. Hands down I believe both the RUFs will eat the Paganis for starter and ask for more..

The Pagani Zonda C12 S is one of the fastest cars on the plannet and in real life would beat a CTR2 in any race 0-60, 0-100, 100m, top speed or cicuit racing, in GT3 I felt the Zonda wasn't quite given the speed it has in real life. Both are tru supercars, both are fantastic but the Zonda gets my vote.

In GTP weekly race #35, the stipulations were "You may tune your car any way you see fit, but it can not have a power to weight ratio less than 2.2."

The results were that the Zonda, the RGT and the Jag XJ220 were very close to each other in that set-up. All things being equal, the RGT is one of the fastest non-race cars available in the game.

I like the RUF better than the Zonda. The Zonda road car is pretty hard to keep control of. I love the RUF CTR-2, fully modded its really fast, I used it to take out all of the harder rally races and Im currantly using it on the Polyphony Digital Cup. Im easily lapping cars within the 20 laps.

I just read evo magazine and they had a supercar comparison. The Enzo, the Zonda, and a new car, the koenigsegg CC8S (which is bad ass, BTW). I looked at the stats, they are pretty comparable, even for being 100hp down on the other cars. Also, the Lambo Murcielago is a supercar, but the Zonda smokes it drag and road race. I believe that the Zonda, in real life at least, is definitely a supercar.

*edi* just realized that I didn't even answer the question, I would take either, but in GT3, the Zonda, fully tuned, is my choice.

I believe his name is Alois.

I vote for the Ruf all the way. They're based on Porsches & Porsches are my dream car. I don't really like the Zondas.

I think I read somewhere on gtplanet that Polyphony Digital mixed up the kph top speed with the mph top speed. So, instead of going 230 mph, it goes 230 kph.
