Woah, great work dude. I love how the color of the Aston Martin stands out a lot. Your best carbon fiber / single pic update yet!
 
@ fallenangel - thanks man. i was kinda dissapointed with the way it came out at first. i originally did the carbon fiber at the original resolution so when i reduced it the weave got really small, but i guess it was fine.

ok i took one of my pics for my next update and did some editing work on it today. this is an experiment so bear with me. when i did this i was trying to get an around the corner blur effect without doing the complicated technique. what i did was use a combination of multiple motion blurs to try and acheive the look i wanted. in my eyes it sucks because of all the mistakes. i really want to see what you guys think so i can learn from this and see if its possible to do.

:indiff: That doesn't make any sense. If you wanted to try that effect, you need Paint Shop Pro 9, a lower shot actually around the corner, and not that aerial view. Don't take it the wrong way, but this is bad...:(

yea i know. i realised after i edited it that it was unrealistic. this is just an experiment to see if i could get the blurs to go together right. i still think it might work but id need a different angle as you pointed out, and i would need to work more on it. to tell you the truth i only worked on this for about 10 minutes. :dopey:
 
too much blur there my friend.. it almost looks like the car was pasted on a blurry picture (pls dont get me wrong..).. but i'll still give you 👍 👍 for the effort..
 
okay most of my updates from now on will be very small. i lost my memory card and had to restart gt4. this is my only car so im just gonna do small updates of it untill i get tourist trophy (hopefully in a week or 2) and then this will become a gt4/tt gallery. anyway this is my latest work. i think ive fallen in love with carbon fiber. :lol:

aww...that sucks big time man (about the memory card).. anyway,the pic looks great the carbon fiber (like what they said) is kinda flat..but that doesnt change the fact that its still great.. 👍
