Paint disappearing

Twice now I've obtained Matte White by buying 30 cars and both times when I go to check my list it's not there? On both occasions I did restart the game until I got Matte white which took about 4 or 5 goes. I used this technique to get silver chrome with no problems. Has this happened to anyone else?
 
The paint chip system is filled with glitches, did you try to sort by texture/matte and look in there?
 
I looked in Matte, chrome, colour change, the whole lot together in date received order. I didn't look through every single paint chip in a row yet , I'll try that later, cheers.
 
Does anyone know if you can get Two Tone paint chips? I have 5 AE86's all with two tone paint, and one MR2 with a Green and Tan two tone. But when I go to look for the paint chips for these cars, I can't find them.

I don't think two tone cars get a chip. If anything, they'll give you the main colour of it. From my experience, that is.

Cars won't two tone when you re paint them. Only racing stripes will change.

@OP: This has happened to me a few times and I have never found a way to get them back.
 
It also happened to me a couple of times, forced to buy the same car again on both occasions and I'm afraid we don't necessarily get the paints...?(Sometimes it fails to deliver a painting item with the car when we purchase one)
