paint items, specifically matte black?

So I know that you when you add a car to your garage, its paint color is added as an item. The paint items are single use only.

So several questions...

If I wanted to paint multiple cars/wheels in my garage in the matte black color, I would have to buy a matte black painted car each time?

Besides the Lexus LFA ($385K), what are other cars available in this color?

As you move into your career, does the paint items at any point become unlimited or infinite use instead of single use?

I have the standard edition, does the Collector's Edition with the stealth cars also come with the flat black paint item? If so, is it single use only?

I too am hoping that at some point, paint colors become unlimited vs. a 1 time use type thing...we'll see though I guess.

I made the mistake of not knowing that we didn't get to keep those colors and played around with my Kart...changing colors... to find that I lost all of my colors I had...stupid move on my part.

The Lexus LFA and the Sema winner from a year or so ago (It's a G37, but can't remember the name) is also Flat Black I believe.
 
I won a Toyota FT-86 Concept from the FF challenge that was matte black. Don't know how much it costs or if you can even purchase it though, I haven't looked in the dealership for it.

I can't believe how many poorly thought out things GT5 has in the game! We really need a palette so we can make our own custom colors.

GT PSP was a disappointment and GT5 is turning out to be one too.
 
I really don't see how people could be disappointed with GT5... there are somethings I wish were a little different, but the game play makes me forget them for the most part... and I think some of them can even be fixed as time goes on (looking at you December).

I think this was a move made by PD on purpose, designed to kick start the community. If you want more, you can ask/beg other PSN friends or even trade here on the forums.
 
If they aren't going to make it unlimited, I think I can settle for buying a 500cr item ticket for whatever chosen paint. Buy it from the company. Maybe make more exclusive colors 1,000 or 2,000 credits. I doubt they'll remove the current system hence I make this suggestion instead. Just modify the current system.
 
i got matte light blue for having 30 cars in my garage....
maybe u'll eventually get the prized color

I learnt a similar lesson with painting a Daihatsu midget, TVR pearlescent orange... i paid $45,000 for that colour and now i'm left with a wicked colour on a bad car. o well i think its a good system for trading and the such, it also makes color choices on new cars that much more important :) :):):):):):):)
 
Hey guys I know it's been a while since your last post but I know the solution to your problem. To get more than 1 paint item I.e matte black get a car with the original colour being matte black (I would chose the lexus to be safe) and the when you have bought it send the car to a friend and he will receive the car and a free matte black paint item. Now there are two ways from now 1)he sends u the car back and you will receive the car and a free matte black paint item or 2) he sends you the car back where you then receive a free paint item and then get your friend to send you the free gift item (matte black) so the you will have two paint items plus the one you get originally please comment if this works for you. I can guarantee this works. :D
