Has anyone had this happen ,i bought a corvette coupé c2 `63 from the UCD it was a dark blue pearl colour .
Well i had a pink matte chip kicking around so paid my money and hey presto pink corvette , or at least i thought so ,when viewed in garage as a thumbnail its pink,but in a race or open the garage its blue, its like the pink gets stripped off

I bought a Skyline N1 from the UCD (stock - white). I played around with different paint chips (maybe 12 different colors). So I quit the game before it saved, then restarted. When it loads back up, I go back to my garage to check something and notice the N1's thumbnail was a "lightning blue"! I click to "view" the car, and it's actually the stock white it came in. Wtf??? I ended up having to actually paint the N1 "lighting blue" so the car and thumbnail matched or it would driven me freakin' crazy every time I saw it! Lol.

I believe you need to create thumbnail again so it refreshes the colour of the car.

👍 Ha! I've seen the "create thumbnail" option and always wondered what the point of it was. Every time I have painted a car, the thumbnail updates on its own. In what other circumstance would you "create a thumbnail" of a car (when it is almost always correct and already there)?

Sometimes the car won't display on the thumbnail, and sometimes it'll show up as the wrong colour (like above).
There's a white X1 in my garage that like to pretend it's blue every now and then lol.
