Paint?

I just purchased a Pagani Huayra and to my surprise, I did not get a color option with it. None of the colors are named so I suspect this is true of all paints for this car. Question is why?

In addition to not giving you un-named paints, the game won't give you some if they have a stripe applied. If you want the paint color, buy the solid, no stripe version. A great example of this is the Ford GT.

When you buy the Camaro you get the paint chip. There is no option to buy it without the stripes though, so I'm guessing the rule only apply to the ones with optional stripes/solids. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Licensing probably. Although the last color on the Huayra's is awesome. Just simply bare Carbon Fibre.

Not every paint is a paint. Some paints can be a "naked" texture, like carbon fiber.

I'm guessing it is because some manufacturers simply may not want their particular "branded" hue of paint to be able to be used on other manufacturer's cars.

Part of me wishes I could get a chip from the carbon fibre selection. It seems silly to have on another car, but it would still be cool to make other cars carbon fibre.

Oh if only.

I would have had 2 MIRAs.
One pink the other carbon fiber.

The pink would be for trolling, the CF would be for more serious racing.
