Painting the GT Academy cars?

I'm about to receive both through trades, and I'm wondering if you can paint them. It seems like a silly question but they could be one of the cars that can't be painted.

If I remember correctly, the GT Academy Nissan GT-R could not be repainted. So I would assume that the answer is no. Sorry I have no definite answer :S

yea it can be repainted... i believe the gtr comes in grey... i painted mine red

the 370z is through a level ticket only and the GT-R is from golding all of the S licenses. I, however, am acquiring them through trade!
