Thank you for finally cracking down on B.S. threads. In recent months the Rumble Strip has turned to crap. I hope neon duke's sticky thread and the prompt closings will ripple through the Rumble Strip and send the message: Idiots Not Wanted!!

milefile, you are absolutely right. It's beginning to turn into the GT3 area(exactly the reason why I stopped going to that forum). There have been too many useless threads for people to spam in. Keep up the good work, moderators.

Thank you GG for clearing out that Britney Spears thread. The whole "team" has been doing a good job lately.
 
Our pleasure, or at any rate, I think I speak for all of the staff when I say it's our way of contributing back what we get from this community. It's a good place to hang out, and that's worth fighting for and defending. It's a cooperative effort, and we're just the business end of it. Everybody who is willing can contribute by respecting others, and being worthy of respect.

Yes, I think you should leave. Me too, I've contributed a big load of **** to GTP.
 
So, if you both recognize the problem, try doing something about it.
 
I try not to post too much off topic crap in threads, but I have to admit I've done it here and there. Thanks to the mod staff for cleaning up around here and making sure everyone follows the rules 👍. It must be a lot of work.

I try to take care of what I notice. I've removed a few NITTO threads.

But I do far less than others here. But, I was originally the Online Racing Forum mod, so transitioning takes time.
 
From what I've experienced in so short a period, I can honestly say that you should change the spelling of your name(Talent-ed). Enjoyable atmosphere. Kudos to all involved:cheers:

and yeah, thank you. it MUST be a HARD time to get all of gtp to do good. you do very well doin it. keep up the amazing work (its a too-large community, but even like that, its cool. mods take big credit to that. people take the rest. mods are included here. it all sums up, and it rules)

Sorry for bumping this up, but I just got back from a week at running camp, so I had two full pages of Rumble Strip threads to go through (half of them with the little locky symbol).

I'd just like to say, thanks for noticing. :) I think Duke summed it up quite nicely- The fact that we're giving back to a community that has given so much to us. I get PMs occasionally from people wondering how I put up with it all, how it must be a pain... yes, it's frustrating at times, but I still get the long stick in the bunch.

I'd also just like to quip in at the amazing job that the mods have done at keeping order in this forum in the past week... kudos! It looks like the hammer has been dropped, and the crooked nails have been pulled out. 👍
