Man, another badass will soon be entering the world.
I can certainly say that this child is gonna have one ice cold father. :)
Best wishes to you and your new family Pako.

Haha, congratulations, Pako.

Thats what I was thinking, in which case: Well Done Pako! You're a rolemodel for all us males!

Perhaps you should've said Mrs Pako's got a bun in the oven?

Either way, well done 👍

Congrats Pako, hope your little Pako likes playing GT! :p

well done Pako....having a child is a trully life changing experience...its the best thing I've ever done...(oh and the wife played her part too)

So they've decided to allow the adoption, then?
;)

 Haven't you heard? They are actually implanting men, where they can carry the child to term.

Good to hear. Little Pako should share my birthday, too. Congratulations, and all my best. Any ideas on names?

Not at all.... It depends on wheiter or not it's a male or female. Should know in another month or so..., and yes we're going to find out. :)

My not-quite-sister-in-law just had another on 26th January, to add to her existing brood of 3. Names are a bit of an issue at the moment...

Their eldest, Emily Rose Isobel, has three very nice names. Unfortunately their surname begins with a "C", so her initials spell "ERIC".

Next is Samuel George Edward - the cursory nod towards predecessors.

Third was Noah Ephraim David - Zoroaster alone only knows where they dragged Ephraim from. David is a nod towards my not-quite-father-in-law, who's actually called Trevor James, but always wanted to be called "Dave". Don't ask.

This latest one - a second girl - they are actively trying to find names to get her first initials to spell FRED. This makes me inexplicably cross.

Eric, Ned, and Fred... interesting. Your not-quite-sister-in-law needs to be whacked upside the head multiple times. And her husband (would that be your not-quite-brother?).

Her husband, my not-quite-brother-in-law, needs a damn good smack with a size 5 shovel. As my other not-quite-brother-in-law remarked "We're like chalk and cheese. And he knows exactly what kind of cheese he is."

It's my girlfriend's brood - she has 3 sisters (all redheads). Eldest two are married, with 6 sprogs between them. Youngest sister is reasonably ensconced, but it'll never last. Me & 'Er have been togethr 7 years, hence the not-quite-in-laws... :D

I can't get away from suggesting we name a daughter Sarah Louise Ann.

This picking names thing is difficult! Then someone brings you a book, and you spend two hours laughing at some of the names in there.

Susan vetoed my other non-serious suggestion of "Feruccio". :grumpy:

For the "F", they thought of "Flora", until youngest sister pointed out that that's what they call people who are "easily spreadable"...

First off, congrats to Pako, and to Giles.
Being a father is one of the coolest jobs there is!

To Famine: what about "Felicia"?

Don't look at me... :D I try to have as little contact with that guy as possible. He makes my hands bunch up all aggressive-like.

They're kind of on "Freya" now. They want rhe "D" to be "Dee" (as in Homer Jay Simpson).

But where do you start with people who want their kids' initials to spell certain words, and take inspiration from cartoons?

You see if I didn't know otherwise, I would of thought he would be welsh with that name :odd: :D .

Congrats Pako 👍! Why do I have a feeling your kids first birthday present it going to be a mini bass :P :D. All the best man  .

They're part of the new wishy-washy Bible-bashing sect (also known as CofE). All three of Noah's names were sucked from the Bible.

Ephraim! I ask you!

For his sake, I hope they don't put him through a real common public school, otherwise he's going to have the living crap taken out of him.

Not a hope. He's 3, but bigger than most 5 year olds. Their 7 year old is so big he's in the U10 Rugby team. Their 8 year old girl is into adult size shoes already.

Well, I have a son named Ezekiel. But my wife just had to have a Zeke, and a Zach in the "set". His middle name is Jacob, and around here, he gets called Zeke, or Jake.
I imagine he's gonna be the biggest of all the guys. He's already bigger than the largest one was when he was the same age.

As far as people spelling crap with their initials....👎

My issue was that all the kids had to have 7 letters in their first names.
While, I've pulled many names from the bible, there is no biblical basis for that.
We just happened to notice, after the first two, that everyone in the house's names had 7 letters. We kept it going for continuity's sake. In fact my 5th son's name has no "h" in order to fit. (Nicolas for the curious).
