PAL GT-TV, how to purchase using US account?

I live in the US, but have a PAL version of the game. When I try to purchase some of the stuff from GT TV, the game won't let me. It gives me a message saying "There are no items available for your account". Has anybody figured out a way to work around this. BTW in case you're wondering I sold my US copy of the game :banghead:
 
I am not sure there is a way. It may have been possible if have you have a PAL account and then a credit card from a PAL country, ( the credit card address will have to match the account address too I would presume ) but I don't know and it probably wouldn't be legal. PSN cards would be the best option, ( You would still need a PAL account though ) but they are not out yet in the PAL zone and I don't know if they ever will be.
 
I guess the first step would be to set up a PAL account.

However, I don't think the PAL store has the option to use PSN cards as funding like the US store does, I haven't looked for some time but I know when I set up my US account I saw the option, but didn't when I set up my UK one, which was first... This was a while ago, though. And we get basically no communication from Sony like the Playstation Blog, that's US only, so even if they did decide to release PSN cards I doubt anyone would even notice. (By this paragraph I mean I doubt very much we'll ever get PSN cards... Forgot to actually make that point)

I believe Paypal does this thing that lets you pay for stuff using Mastercard (you set up a temporary one or something?) or whatever, not sure how it works but maybe you could use that to pay for stuff. I dunno.

You can afaik, the codes work on all Stores, the cards just arent released here (which is so stupid).
 
I live in Canada and have the normal version of the game, and they just recently added a bunch of top gear episodes for free on gt tv but when I add them to my cart, it still says items=0. ( It's like it can't sense things that are free). Then when I go to purchase it says {$labelunexpected.Error} or something or it says "There are no items available for your account".
