There are also different prize cars in the manufacturers specific races. I got the Mercedes DTM race car for getting golds in the SL races, and my brother got a different car for getting all gold and one silver. As soon as he got Gold in the last race, he got the DTM.

i dont see how can we will be able to open around 700 cars from the simulation
in gt3 we aere also able to open cars from arcade races , but here the arcade does not give us any thing. i had total of 290 cars in arcade and a little more in simulation mode.
