EmohawkThe sock is so abbriviated it's a suprize they even bothered with it.
Famine, isn't it 180hp?
EmohawkSorry, I skimmed whatever I was reading. 4WD is an option on the 180hp version, still possible to get a FWD 180.
And you forgot the TT Quattro Sport, 240hp 4WD 4cyl (which is 1.8, not 2.0).
#17what car would that be, mister stockman?
BlazinXtremeand Brian could the turbo car possibly be a *cough*Volvo*end cough*
BlazinXtremeThats going to be one fast grocery getter.
Damn sorry for slaughtering your name...its time to go to bed.
M5PowerI don't see how they could squeeze any more power out of the 1.8-liter motor with just one turbo. Anyone know?
M5PowerIs the 225-horsepower TT a twin turbo?

By the way, the correct US lineup was posted by MrktMkr:
- 180hp 1.8L 4-cyl turbo = front- or all-wheel drive
- 225hp 1.8L 4-cyl turbo = all-wheel drive
- 250hp 3.2L V6 = all-wheel drive
Emohawk" 225 hp by applying a maximum of 2 bar boost pressure
FamineI'm out of date. It seems that the FWD one is now 180hp to match the entry level 4WD one.
When they were introduced to the UK, you could only get a 180hp or 225hp 4WD. They then introduced a 160hp FWD - but it was significantly lighter, so as quick as the 180hp 4WD version - and, most recently, the 250hp V6.
That is the "sportkombi" version.barryl85i think the new TT is quite smart - dont know about the picture without the spoiler at the rear thought it was ugly!
TwinTurboJay350 bhp in a tt...that would make it worth while !
FamineDo you mean FWD, or 4WD? There IS a front-wheel drive version of the Audi TT, but it's only 160hp.
Never mind no room in the back, have you seen the boot? Pure comedy.
MrktMkr1986*Sorry for hijacking the thread* How do you like the TT, Danny?
Eh, probably not, unless you're going fast enough or taking a turn sharp enough. In the winter i'm sure you'd notice thoughultrabeatI did mean the 4WD, sorry for the confusion.
Apart from not being able to get in it, it seems nice enough...
Also, does anyone think the 4WD would be especially noticable with day to day driving?
My mum isn't a quick driver, bless 'er.
