I don't know if this is mention before...

but how good it is if we can be part of a B-Spec mode in a 24H race.

Lets say we drive for 1h(in an endur race), we feel bored or tired, we pit in, change driver and the mode become B-spec!

Guys, any commants?

This has been mentioned numerous times before. But, of course it would be a great idea.

That's exactly how GT4 did it.

And also that is the reason we didn't miss mid race saves in GT4.

A and B Spec should have been integrated. You, as part of a team. Even during races.

I honestly don't know why this feature was omitted from GT5. It makes much more sense than endurance race saves which invalidate them from actually being endurance races.

Can you elaborate about the driver's stints? Is it setup like LeMans or you can just change drivers whenever you want, and how many drivers can you have? I never played GT after the second one.

In GT4 you had only one B-Spec driver, and you could start the 24h and then pit whenever you want and switch to B-Spec and go on with him until the end of the race. At every pit stop you can decide to switch to A-Spec or B-Spec. This works for all races, not only endurances. Also in GT4 there was a fast forward (X3) tool. You could finish the 24h in less than 9 hours in this way.

Very interesting about the switching from A to B and vice versa. How do the X3 tool work? Does it just make the time go by faster?

EDIT: In addition, it would be even nicer if there was a LeMans style rule. Three drivers and no more than 14 hours of driving for a driver.

If we do see a comeback of this feature, I don't mind having the X3 tool as well so we can let our ps3 rest.

This seems to be impossible, because the processes involved with calculations for all cars apparently take too much CPU power to do it much faster than real-time.

That's also the reason why there is no fast forward in replays.

The way it was in GT4, it would revert to real-time at any pitstop though. So you had to speed it up after Bob left the pits again every time. There was no way you could just leave after 1 stint and come back 8 hours later and it would be finished.

If they had the b-spec drivers i would definetely stop complaining about mid-race saves

IMO the one and only reason why the A-spec and the B-spec are not integrated is cause they had only this events ready and cause they ran out of time .....they had to come up with a "quick plan" on how to make the game look longer.

Easiest/faster way? split up A n B-spec and voila you have doubled the events.
