I can only thing of a few right now..
Cryptopsy - Emaciate (when that part comes on...ohh...)
Sodom - Body Parts
Sepultura - Chaos A.D.
Reply kiddies!

System of a Down - "Chop Suey!", everything after he screams "Father! Father! Father!". I love the harmonics and stuff to that part.

that one part in the barney song.........you know the part......

probaly the chorus to "shorty" by Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Chingy, etc.....👍

I know people think Evan and Jaron are gay but for some reason since the first time I heard Crazy for this girl I've just liked it. I could listen to the beginning till the vocal come on but it's just a nice beginning... actually even the lyrics are cool too or how he sings it. Other ones are...

beginning and the drums in Candlebox - Far behind
the backround drums in Counting Crows - Round here
The beginning of Duran Duran - Come undone
the backround music to Erasure - Chains of Love
The beginning up till the vocals to Metallica - One
The beginning and guitar to Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers - Mary Jane's Last Dance

The backround music to Depeachy Mode Enjoy the silence and Policy of truth so 80's but it works

There's a part between about 2:05 and 2:28 of Filter - hey man nice shot that I've always liked

Various parts of Machines Of Loving Grace - Golgotha Tenement Blues

Rob D - Clubbed To Death (Kurayamino Mix) that part right after the piano ends and the bass kicks in... intimidating, intimidating song.

Ziggy X - Bassdusche - it'll make you wanna holla & it'll seriously test your woofers
Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400
Tupac - .gangsta's paradise - haha, oops - I meant California Love
Fat Joe - My Lifestyle
Bone Thugs n Harmony - War

Oh...and if you've seen my playlist, almost everything I have will make you want to go

Dave Grohl's incredibly melodic drumming behind the guitar solo in QOTSA's No One Knows, building up to a huge crescendo that suddenly just ends, leaving the bass doing this little two-note bounce.

Either that, or pretty much all 4':27" of Hooker With A Penis.

That part rules very much, you haven't heard QOTSA - Song For The Dead have you? Very amazing drum intro 👍

A Perfect Circle:

Gravity: When the lyrics come along. Lost again...
Pet: Pretty much everything but the part when he shouts 'Keep your head down go to sleep to the rythmn of the war drums' 3:20 onwards - just gives me massive chills.
The Noose: 1:51 when the guitar and drums comes in.
The Package: The 'drum war' as I like to call it from 4:00 onwards just ****ing rules.
Vanishing: 0:35 also when the bass, guitar and drums comes in.
Weak and Powerless: The bass line especially at 2:31 - 2:34 is just so powerfull.

Blindspott - Phlex: the whole song.

Busta Rhymes - Break Yo Neck: very driving song.

Chemical Brothers - Under The Influence: Need I explain more?

Coldplay: Their awesome use of piano.. 👍

Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing: Feel good song.

KoRn - Falling Away From Me: Powerfull.

Queens Of The Stone Age:

A Song For The Deaf
First It Giveth
Go With The Flow (anybody seen the hints hidden in the video clip for this song? :p)
Hangin Tree
No One Knows
Songs For The Dead
The Sky Is Falling

All of those songs above just rule.

R.E.M - Losing My Religion: relaxing yet powerfull

And anything by Tool.

*phew*

Almost every sinlge song by Tool, but I'll mention some of the best :

H. = The chorus part is definitely the best.
The Patient = Very powerful vocals, and the whole music itself blends in so well, it makes me feel like I'm about to fall down. 👍
Lateralus = The last part of the song, 'Spiral out..', the whole drum/guitar solo rules.
Parabola = The heavy guitars at the end part. 👍
Ticks & Leeches = Drums & guitar solo.
Aenema = 'I'm praying for mayhem..', I think. :odd: I love that whole part.

Metallica

Like usual, the best :

Enter Sandman = Best riffs ever. 👍
Fade to Black = The very beautiful guitar solos.
Master of Puppets = The whole damn song, especially the ****ing beautiful double guitar solo.
Sad But True = The whole song.
Hero of the Day = Very soulful, IMO.

Gah! Too many to list! :grumpy:

[edit]Meh, I'll list more.[/edit]

KoRn - Make Me Bad
The chorus is very soothing to me ears.

Every single song on A Perfect Circle's Mer de Noms and The Thirteenth Step album. 👍

:D

I pretty much agree with what Shant said above.

Stone Temple Pilots - Big Empty - The chorus totally rocks!
Metallica - Fade to Black - This whole song owns; from the soft lyrics at the start to the heavy solo at the end.
Audioslave - Shadow on The Sun - 2nd chorus = 👍
Aerosmith - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing - The whole song.

A Perfect Circle

The Hollow - The very start of it...mmmmm.
3 Libras - The very last bit ('You don't see me...') is orsome!
Weak and Powerless - The whole song is just magnificant.

Tool

Every bloody song virtually. The ones the stand out the most for me are:

No Quarter - 7:10; Maynard's voice is just magnificant. I just love the soft to hard transitions.
Ticks and Leeches - The guitar/drum solo at the start and around 6:40. Adam is 'effin magic on the guitar.
H. - The chorus.

Metallica - Enter sandman, come on how can you not want to scream out "EEXXXIIITTT LIIIGGHHHTTT" admit you want to scream that out right now! :p

also Fuel by metallica is quite..." \m/" love the opening...love it:p
ACDC - Thunderstruck , just makes you wanna shout "THUNDER!" :p

in Led Zeppelin's Dazed and confused. if you know the song, you know its guitar solo is one of the most fabulous in rock history. absolutely vertiginous. also, heartbreaker's solo does the work.

Yeah, and the part in the solo for "Stairway to Heaven" where Bonham plays that really fast drum part behind the guitar. I literally headbanged without noticing it. Haha. STH is the greatest song ever.

I have to agree with the Tool comment. Here are some of my favorites:
Tool
Third Eye (Salival) - When the lyrics begin "It's so good to see you.....I missed you so much".
Push It (Salival live version) - At the climax "If, when I say I may fade like a sigh if I stay,
You minimize my movement anyway,
I must persuade you another way".
Also at the end, "Remember I will always love you,
As I claw your ****ing throat away.
It will end no other way." Both of those get me every time.
No Quarter (led Zepplin cover) The whole thing is incredible, but especially the cool vocal stylings at about 3:45 into the song, just beautiful.
Otep
Blood Pigs
When the chorus comes in for the second to the last time, and there is this dope hard drum beat with driving guitars.
I'm sure I'll think of more later.
;)

Tupac - Gangsta's Paradise

Please tell me that's a joke, and you know that Gangsta's Paradise is a Coolio song, and not a Tupac song.

And all of DMX's Bugout is joygasmic. The beat is $$.

Actually, one site says that it is. And I agree. :)

Oh okay then.

Tool

  • Third Eye - All of it; especially towards the end when Maynard is screaming "Prying open my third eye!!"
  • AEnima - The part when he is "**** Ron L. Hubbard...etc."
  • Eulogy - "To ascend you must die, you must be crucified. For all our sins and our lies. Goodbye."
  • Sober - The whole thing.
  • Jerk-off - Whole thing
  • Part of Me - Go about 1:15 into the song until 1:53

HIM

  • Beyond Redemption - The awesome guitars about 2:45 into the song.
  • Sigillum Diaboli - The beginning.

Metallica

  • No Leaf Clover - 3:43 into the song until the end.
  • Master of Puppets - Whole thing.

Bah, too lazy to list more.

I prefer instrumentals of rap songs or "clean" versions, but then there are some that don't work or don't sound right thoughs ways and that's one song that can't be touched.

Hey, I happen to listen to that song and I didn't really like it... But I'm not going to say it's because it's bad. I don't have any right to put this song down because it is a classic I can tell. There's a lot of good stuff to it, I guess it's just not my taste. That's all.
