Mastodon - March of the fire ants

I have really been getting into Mastodon lately... They have a really unique sound...

In the song "Voices" from Disturbed the lead singer says "Save me now!" and then there is a great part where there are just the guitar and the drums. I don't know what the guitar plays but the drums do this: bass, snare, snare, bass, snare, snare, bass snare, snare, bass, snare... It's great.

Mastodon Rules dude, I've seen a couple of music videos on Headbanger's Ball. I was headbanging at 1:00-to-2:00 in the morning. They were cool. (BTW afterwards was Lamb of God)

After Tom sings "Now I shall reign in blood". I read on Guitar Magazine that it is Kerry King and Jeff going crazy.

Well it's just Kerry and Jeff playing absolutely anything, Dave playing some fast drums and Tom bashing his bass. Lol. If you read the lyrics in the booklet for Reign In Blood, this part of the song is called "Noise".

No matter where I am, on the streets or on the school bus, besides headbang, I can't help but to sing that song. I just about memorized all the of Reign in Blood, Divine Intervention, and Diabolus in Musica. I do forget a line or two from the songs, but I can at least sing the majority of the song.

I know everything from Reign In Blood. Never really bothered to learn anything from other albums, although I seem to know a fair few words from Diabolus in Musica and God Hates Us All...Odd. They aren't bad albums though, but I don't listen to them that often. I surprisingly don't know much from Seasons in the Abyss.

Oh well, I never usually bother myself with lyrics anyway.

I noticed that. I just mentioned the "crazy stuff" cause thats what Kerry said on Guitar Magazine (September 2004):
That's just me and Jeff going nuts getting different sorts of feedback, using pick slides and hitting with the left hand while the right hand is on the tremolo. We're just going wild and generating cool sounds. It's all about experimentation.

I trying to memorize all of the lyrics from Slayer, but also from other artist as well. Having a hard memorizing all the lyrics and the crap for school, that's why I fail to much.
