Well then, How bout we implement a GTP IRC chat into one of the pages, kind of like how we have the POTD and whatnot, just have the IRC thingy there. I've seen it alot of places and well, I think it would be a great idea, and if we get the chat, the HMRCWG is unneeded.

The HMRCW is a relaxing place to chat, until someone like *Cough*Meme*Cough* comes in and spams the place to hell, then we all leave because we cant read our own posts.


If it helps, I'll figure out how IRC works and do it myself :)
 
how bout this, tell everyone to go into it, then delete it and the people in there are deleted too.

That leaves the smarted people here.

Really though, just delete the whole thing, and delete everyone's posts from there. I didn't post much in there so I would laugh to see Mista go from almost 10400 posts to like 3,000...
 
I don't care if I gets deleted either. My post count will drop but who cares. I will enjoy hearing people whine over it.

also, there wouldn't be a way to choose who can have the password and who can't. also, what would happen if the people who did recive the pass. start acting rowdy and uncontrollable? and then the security of the pass. would be hard to keep because who knows who would tell all of :gtplanet:

Whats going to stop a person postwhoring? They can do it in other threads, like club threads, etc, and like M5Power said, more HMRCWG threads would sprout up.

and a thread with so many responses that you could not pay a person enough to review them for aup compliance is nowhere near the issue of the, albeit rare, so far as I've noticed, slander threads. And what of threads where ppl post IM conversations?

It's not, although the overwhelming majority of people don't want to admit that. It is meant to be a place to have a casual chat with another member, without having to worry about going off-topic from the original post in another topic.
 
HMRCWG forget that old thread, it was enjoyable to have conversations with other people, but now a few certain members just spoil it so I dont bother with it anymore. I think we need a few more visitors to the colour blue (an argument) thread in the test forum, its an ongoing discussion with around 700+ posts and growing ;)
 
I guess this thread is a mute point as the HMRCWG thread is closed...
