I have a PayPal account with alot of money in it! However, no credit card or anything! :(

It wont let me send money to someone else without a credit card or bank account. WHY? Can I fix this? Thanks GTP! ;)

I don't know anything about your problem Simon but I will tell you something about PayPal.

I was watching Dateline on NBC and the shows subject was PayPal. Thousands of people were complaining about its faults. Both sides of the transaction did their part but PayPal kept the money and merchendise. They are being sued now. Maybe it's over and maybe it's not. Since Dateline is a respectable show, I don't trust PayPal.

Ooh, that's interesting to hear. Thanks for that Concept - I'm looking for a good value transaction provider, and PayPal were coming up trumps. I'll have to do a bit more research now.

I think the new service in town is c2it by Citibank. I've heard a lot of great things about them, and I actually have an account with them myself although I haven't used it yet.

Paypal is getting a lot of good reaction from some well known sites now though. Ebay is just one example, where pretty soon, every ebay auction can be paid for with paypal.

They also have a great new feature that finds all your current winning autions and fills out the "paperwork" for you. All you have to do is approve the transaction.

I have used paypal for awhile now, and never once have had a problem.

I've been using Paypal for a year now and have no problems. Whenever I need to use my money I transfer it to my bank account. I have a "debit" card associated with that bank account, which is just a collateralized credit card, and can be used for Paypal verification. Do you have a bank account? I thought you would've had to provide that information to open your Paypal account.

I wouldn't worry about it Giles. People just like to *****. Like me. I hate Ebay. I'll steer anyone away from Ebay I can but apparently something like 20 million people disagree with me.
