PD Drag Leaderboard Anyone??

I see how PD can make Seasonal Events every week for us which is great. So why havent they taken that knowledge and set us up a Drag Leaderboard. In the Seasonal Events they have SRF disabled for the Time Trials. They also keep track of the best times on each Time Trial. All they would have to do is put SSRX in the Seasonal Events, disable the SRF, and record the 1/4 mile times. It seems like a reasonalbe suggestion since they havent made us a drag strip yet.

I can't see why it wouldn't work, No way to cheat this way, problem is drag seems to be very low on PD's list of priorities.
 
It seems to be at the end of their to-do list, yes.
 
I expected this in the DLC. Whats the point of making a track and putting it online if you can't even compare your times with people?
 
One thing that pd needs to do??? Make the garage available in the ssrx test room. It's a small thing, but its a hassle to back in and out... plus, every time you enter the room, it counts as a day... a wasted day.

I thought the same thing, I was relaxing enjoying my early morning cig and it just came to me. It would be soooo easy to program that into the game. The already have the track, they already know how to keep track of times in seasonal events. I wonder what is stopping them from doing this besides the fact that they have drag racing at the bottom of the list.

This is a good idea and Drag Seasonal will be awesome. Compare how we stack up against those that don't know about GTP, compete for bragging rights. But in the other hand, will it eliminate the drag racing scene online?

i would still have friends to run against. Besides the online scene is only GTRs, Vipers, and Enzos that are being driven by people who either get mad when they lose or ram the line because they are bored. would we really be missing anything? :lol:
 
Would be great if they did this 👍 I'm sure there is a few unknown's about they dont use GTP or any leadboard website that have fast times.

Considering the fact GT5 wants you to be signed into PSN constantly or else it gives you you a message telling you to sign in every 5 seconds i've always wonderd why they havn't made online leaderboards for all the tracks, set a time in time trial practice mode it should automatically get added to an online leadboard.

But this is PD we're talking about here, if they did do a route X seasonal event it wouldn't be how we want or expect it to be, knowing them they would probably leave the finish point at the 1mile or 1000meter mark depending on which units they use. Of course they could just move the finish point back to the 1/4mile or 400m mark or have a seperate event for each distance, but as I said this is PD we're talking about... they rarely do things the way people want or expect.
