So I was playing the brilliant made Aero Elite Combat Academy and it hit me, this is one genre a developer like PD need to explore..anybody agree?
If PD made a flight sim, there'd be 20 "premium" planes with "interiors" and 80 without.

Well if it's as good as the "Ace Combat" series---I'm all for it.

And the "Premium" would have wings that could fall off, but Standard would only have dents and such.
As far as console flight sims go, the ones I remember as being decent were Eagle One: Harrier Attack on the PS1
lol, dont forget the flashed lights on the wings.
I think it is very bad idea. They should stick with GT. May be try bringing more type of motorsport. Try to make it more real with every iteration![]()
GolfmanIf they did it would probably be the PS3's answer to MS Flight Simulator.
To say that PD should stick to just GT(or racing games in general) would be liking saying that Pixar should stick to making Toy Story movies only or Mel Gibson should make only make lethal weapon movies. In case of PD making GT games alone IMO is nothing but a waste of talent and for all I care, I wouldn't be suprise if some at PD have grown tired of making just GT games.
The closes thing to MSFX we have on a console Aero Elite, however despite the relative popularity flight games on consoles, its a shame there isn't a current flight sim, and I'm not speaking about the Ace Combat games which aren't really a sim in the first place.
I heard it's in development - it'll be out in 2022.. Prologue that is..
