I'd like to get in on this too.
If you are interested, we do have a race tomorrow, and it will be starting around 6:40PM EST, or 36 hours after this post.
I'm not saying you have to race, but I could use all of the participation I can get.

Congratulations guys I broke a record for participation last night. 1!
I proudly accept my award as GTP's most enormous loser.

To the followers of this thread...

I will be acquiring a lot of Group C prototype shortly, and I'll probably try to run a single race event... probably over 3 hours in length over the weekend. Not saying it is anytime soon, but it seems like all of my idea have one really good race, and everyone else says "To hell with it!" After the fact.
So, this is the LAST series I'll try to be running, but I promise, some really fun and competitive spot racing will be coming up shortly.

Another note on the Group C cars, in GT5 I tried running the same thing, only with fuel regulations instead of HP and weight. Since Texas brought to my attention that max HP is possible, I will be running the HP & weight regs this time around.
I'm also in development of several other spot races involving the Homologation GT1 & GT2 classes, the Mid 2000s LM series, Modern WEC, JGTC events, and, of course, a one-race IKA resurrection which I'm certain that everyone will enjoy.

Another note: when I get back home, I'll finalize testing for the homologation GT1 class, and push to enter this class into the WEC being ran by an old friend of mine. He's currently running a Group C class (how damn linear is THAT now?) and they just don't belong racing with the modern WSCs. Not to mention they are running around 670hp... at least 80 less than what they ran in real life... and they run Medium tires... and ABS isn't prohibited... but anyways, I said he should run these cars since they link the WSCs to the GTEs.
Opinions would be nice.

Also, if you're going to race with my friend, he's a giant dick, so I suggest muting anyone with a mic unless I say not to.

Hey Mythic. Any news on whether we'll be racing tonight?

Fresh has already cancelled the Monday portion of his 90's FIA series due to low numbers, just want to know if you're planning on doing the same here to concentrate on other things...?

I'm going to have to. Participation tonight was two.

I have a mid-2000s Le Mans race's preliminary regulation set. It has 4 classes (technically 5), as did the LM races during that era, and I currently have it greenlit for one race at Circuit de la Sarthe, 50 laps in length.
I'm certainly not making it a series until I find committed people and a sanctioning body to solidify regulation and participation. If it was a series, it would have to be a Sunday to make it a weekly series. Friday and Saturday would be bi-weekly.
But anyways, not only is this "series" not getting anywhere without the participation, neither is the race.
I'll be posting this under the "spot race" forum this weekend. Give it all of the fancy knick-knacks and whatevers.
If not, there's ALWAYS ADR, lol jk.
