Hi guys. I'm new here because I just want to get back into sim racing after many many years. I will be driving a real F1 car (LRS Formula) in about 18 months and want to make the most of the experience by running many many many virtual laps on the Catalunya circuit before getting there for real laps in a real car.

I already have a F1 cockpit with an old Logitech racing wheels and pedals kit, that needs replacing. I haven't used the setup for many years and I need to update it. I want to use a PS4 and the F1 2019.

The Logitech G20 seems like a great kit but the pedals are too wide. I have only a little more than 13" in my cockpit for the pedals (it's made to look and feel like a real F1 cockpit). I'm looking for a set of pedals that would be no more than 13" wide and that work with a PS4-compatible wheel.

I have looked at the Fanatec stuff and there's probably a bundle that would work but it would be pretty expensive. I'm already spending a lot on the driving experience (including the trip to Spain), I don't want to spend too much money on the racing sim part of it (I know it will sound weird to some of you!).

Anyone has any recommendations for me? My search has not been very successful so far. Thank you.

Christian

Thanks super_gt. This is where I was heading right now. It seems some mods could be done with those pedals to make them better. I also found the specs for the T3PA 3-pedal set and it would fit just flush in my cockpit. The T3PA seems to be better than the 2-pedal setup, according to reviewers.

Then look for T150 PRO and T300RS GT Edition.:)

If the T3PA would fit, then possibly so too would the T-LCM with a load cell brake that can be set pretty firm (and even firmer with simple modding). They are substantially better than the T3PA, but there isn't a bundle with a wheel (yet?).

Alternatively, it's fairly straightforward to take the logitech G29 pedals from their housing and mount them on wood or whatever, two bolts per pedal. A search for "logitech inverted" will find plenty of info (even if you wouldn't want them inverted!).
