damn I still don't get how to drift ,maybe I should get a steering wheel cause I can't get any preccision out of the analog when counter-steering... you guys know any good ones?

Hehe, decided to mosey on down here...but here's my only query, do you really think that someone can learn to drift (in GT3) with text help? I'm not questioning you, I just mean...well I feel that it'd be hard with just text, and then there's the point of the GT3 drift bible. Good video, I liked it, especially the editing, but I find myself using the more advanced techniques in GT3 such as heel and toe downshift (interesting without a clutch) and actually drifting using Manual transmission. PM me if you have any disagreements or whatnot.

Edit: And also I don't use the ebrake to drift, I find that the RPMs drop way too much to exit a turn properly (in my mindset).

I see what you mean, but wouldn't that be better then being the middleman and transposing messages?

it saves alot of FLAMERS THREADS and i would be the middle men to help out a site that just one GT thread

I thought heel and toe was a racing technique used to downshift smoothly, and because there's no clutch it's not necessary.

That's what I thought at first. If you blame countersteer angles, you're either not countersteering early enough or your throttle control is off.

But when it comes to newbs, I'll always say:

Take an FR stock car on sims (like say, a Dodge Viper), and learn how to drive a regular line so you can predict when your car will break grip. Then, when you know how to break it regularly, simply try drifting until you can predict where your car is going based on steering and throttle input. If you spin out, you're either countersteering too late or you're putting too much throttle in it. But drifting is not something you can necessarily teach--you have to be able to feel where the car is going to go.

NK, the e-brake one, tell them they are holding the e-brake way too long. That's why they are losing RPM's.

about that, the reason i didn't answer them is because either that they can't understand me and one..im a AWD drifter... i started a different way... or i might learn something also
 
Gaiaonline? I am a member there still, not really active there nowadays.
But it seems there arent alot of people interested in drifting over there right?

why don't you just give them Shadow Drifter's drifting bible?
 
Just so you know, Most of the people on Gaia are kids. I know atleast 20 people at my High school that post there ,so I would expect them to say certain things.
